  • What a treat it must have been to be there with these two on stage. Dustin, however, get's plowed over by Chuck's intensity so we really don't hear his voice. However, that's just the way Dustin is so I'm not surprised he seems so passive for this song. I've seen Chuck, live, once and he is amazing. The energy he brings to the stage on his solo bit is more than most bands who have 5 or 6 members.

  • They are both fucking great musicians on separate ways, but they sound great together!

  • This is still one of my favorite videos!

  • what a fuckin sweet coupling of musicians!

  • dustin and chuck...

    epic win.

  • Chuck and Dustin are great musicians.

  • man i WAS at the thrice show at HOB the night right before this and i was debating on coming back to orlando to see chuck ragan for this show. if id have known dustin was going to be there i wouldve done everything to come back up to see this. i could kick myself. ragan and kensrue belting out the manliest acoustic music known to man!

  • PBR should have sponsored The Revival Tour!!!

  • So I had never listed to Chuck Ragan before tonight despite me being a huge Thrice fan and Kensrue fanatic. I started looking around and listening to a lot of his stuff and realized the huge impact of this had to be for the crowd. Having Dustin and Chuck come together to sing their souls out for this song is exactly why I love artists like these guys, because they truly put their blood, sweat, and tears into every word that escapes their mouths. For all those that say it's mariachi music..shut up

  • ya im seeing chuck and ben nichols from lucero on the solo tour..im so stoked

  • just some information... this is a rumbleseat cover... (chuck's and chris' folk band/ side project before and/or during hwm)

  • finger pointing during a country song. HA!

  • pretty cool

  • no one did to your last one.

someone gave you a thumbs up.

    dumbass.

  • dk owns!!

  • oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhh my god!!!!!!!!! I've been looking for a video of Dustin and Chuck singing this together. I saw it at the chain back before Dustin released Please come home.. Chuck played it as his last song and invited Dustin on.. I wet myself. thank you for posting this.

  • i was there!!! from where i was standing i could touch dustin's foot from where he was at. :]. and chuck is a great song writer. i saw him at the epicentre in san diego with matt skiba. great show also.

  • because this is something much deeper than a popular radio chart song. listen to chuck ragan, dustin's solo stuff, or hot water music (please!) and you may get a better understanding why this means a lot to so many people. thanks!

  • It's boring because you're too shallow to get it. It's boring because you don't understand what it feels like to sing your heart out everynight. Keep it up Chuck!!!!

  • or maybe i just dont like it?? dont get defensive for people having opinions dude

  • ya djane seriously. grow up

  • This attitude is why people live angry and die alone. Listen to the lyrics, dude.

  • im not angry at all. or do i plan on dying alone. i think thrice is unbelievable, and i think hotwater music or whatever this is, is not good. get over it people

  • Good to keep in mind that this is a Chuck Ragan song, not one of Dustin's. At least, that's my understanding of it.

  • the fact that you called this a mariachi song... shows how little you know and understand about music. this song is more of a folk song, but mariachi!?! wow

  • u cant say that it doesnt sound somewhat mexican

  • well, burritos are tex-mex, if you really want to get technical. :D

  • im mexican, i grew up listening to mariachi music. dude. this is straight up folk. just give it up. i really don't see the connection other than the instruments used. next you'll be telling me that bluegrass sounds like mariachi music.

  • ok your right

  • I'm fairly sure that's what they are claiming. Bluegrass is what you're hearing right now. Country/Folk with no percussion.

  • yea he's right

  • incredible fucking great.

  • yeaaaa mother fucker!!!!

  • fukkin incredible...two GREAT artists! what a treat!!
