Well...my parents are Jehovah's witnesses and I came "out of the closet" when I was 16...they yelled and screamed and said it was a phase...but they did the same when I wS 6 and in love w/ the girl next door(long story)...8 years later they still say its a "phase " and I'm still not welcomed in their home.... I came out to my mom last year and when I told her, she thought that it was just a phase too but after she asked me not too long ago if I was sure that I am gay, and I confirmed, I think and hope that she believes me.
