@fghhna Это зависит от воинской части и от рода войск. Я знал такое положение дел, большая часть наших частей - гарнизонные, и делать там нечего. Следовало целенаправленно идти в МП\ВДВ и иже с ними.
А землячества так они везде есть, в какой бы ты коллектив ни попал, а в армии, вдали от дома, тем более. Но это никогда не основополагающий фактор во взаимоотношениях, все от самого человека зависит. С дедовщиной (какой ее обычно понимают) я и сам не сталкивался.

You seem to have missed a few lectures there. The Soviets invaded because the communist government in Afghanistan was being brought down by said rebels. Which means that the Sovuets invaded in hope to stop (but in the end only delay) the rebel takeover of the country. Which was only possible thanks to USA selling guns to said rebels, such as stingers, as well as train them in neighbouring countries.

As for the femine in Ukraine, in 1927 it's entire population was only 27 million ppl, and in 1933 it was already 32 mln ppl, you check the numbers yourself. And it wasn't Stalin's fault, there was a massive drought in USSR in early 1930s which cause it.

You seem to have missed a few lectures there. The Soviets invaded because the communist government in Afghanistan was being brought down by said rebels. Which means that the Sovuets invaded in hope to stop (but in the end only delay) the rebel takeover of the country. Which was only possible thanks to USA selling guns to said rebels, such as stingers, as well as train them in neighbouring countries.

One can never even start to compare a Russian and US soldier, a Russian soldier will be without equipment, short on food and water and will carry on, a US soldier will shit it self, call an air strike and evac and run like a bitch, but thats OP for us soldiers :) And corruption is everywhere, aren't US marines still using the outdated "interceptor" vests pulling extra heavy plates out and get shot in the back running :) cuz someone must get a fat commission on a deal?

The only reason they are not is because of, like you say, corruption. The guy who tested dragonskin armor for the army, and failed it, was the vice president of a company that makes interceptor armor like a year later.

nope it literally is navel infantry, just because US calls them marines doesnt mean everyone has to call them that. the term marine isnt even used universally in the commonwealth countries even though UK uses it.
