  • sorry great great great granpap

  • R.I.P. great-great grandpap died in the Italian army

  • The English people are the the bravest people on this earth, they gave their lives but all they get is comments how they are hated, many thanks for that.

Please aim your hate comments at the ruling class, not the English people who gave their lives for you.

  • @19pkatet I truly cannot believe that this war happened almost 100 years ago. It's unbelievable.

  • @berserker276 seems like it was yesterday...

  • @Penguin0fDoom6z It would seem that way if I'd had been in WWI.

  • 1918: at the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month, in a railway carriage in Compiègne Forest, an armistice was signed between the Allies and Germany to end the fighting in the 'Great War' ... 'the war to end all wars'.

  • Sad and it solved nothing..........

  • My great great grandfather fought in WW1. I see him in our local War Memorial. I sometimes leave poppies there if I get chance, He died in 1917 after being poisoned by Poison Gas. He fought with the British Army. R.I.P Private. James

  • my great great grandpa was in ww1 he lost his left leg in 1918 he was in verun ypers and al the big battles he saw the tank he saw poison gas he saw trench warfere she he is now died but i will alway remember but hes brother died i n ww1 by a machine gun because he was helping his best friend to cover in a rotten trench. they were in the british army

  • my compute froze at 1:41 no joke. i think its a sign, fudes like this like this can never happen again

  • I give my respect to america, but i have to give all the respect to britian on this one!

  • where is the turkish or serbian soldires??? they was at ww1

  • my granfather was in the royal navy during the first world war

  • Im doing a project at school on world war 1, Do you think i should use this song in it?

  • Damn good job on the video! Well done! BRAVO!

  • Thank you for this incredible video.

WWI has been forgotten by most people, it's good to see that some people still remember it.

  • perfect title realy.this truly is the the most senceless war in history the world did go mad and unlike ww2 this war had no justification there was no good or bad guys . it destroyed so many nations that had stablized regions for centuries. because of this the balkans middle east caucases are hell and the world had to suffer a cold war and the effect of comunism thats was never realy comunism.people for get how important world war one was.

  • A terrible war. A touching video. In my opinion the christmas day football match between the germans and english was the most beautiful event in history.

  • @AlexRules777 very much agreed, and the saddest is to think how few survived.

  • @ANCHORSaweighMYboys 75% survived it, but 10% were mutilated and/or permanently crippled.

  • My Great grandad was in WWI in the Canadian Army. i cant even begin to imagine the blow of the whistle and the cry "over the top"

  • i am 34 this year. but i am aware, that people should not forget the 1st and the 2nd world war. we are here today, messing around with the webs and nokias and plasma tvs and the toyotas, all came becoz men and women sacrified during that period of time. a means to an end.

  • DEVIL DOGS

  • what is that song called please ?! x

  • Gary Jules- "Mad World"

  • mad world by gary jules

  • Lest we forget.

  • Nice video although I missed our soldiers a bit.

And the picture of the French soldiers at 1:58 must be post WWI or WWII because the soldier aiming out of the winodw has a MAS36. And concerning the name I would say that it came 1936.

    But anyways good job!

  • Thats a labell dumbass the only thing they used besides those shitty gudire machine guns

  • Firstly the rifle you mean is called Lebel and secondly these rifles were much longer. So unless the french also had some shortened Lebels the rifles in the picture must be MAS36.

  • Thanks!

  • @DeutscherFilmer3 itz 1917 a french solider

  • still love this video

  • Glad to hear that.

  • This is a video in memory of Hugh Wright. awesome Video. : ')

  • Beautiful video so sad the millions of soldiers who died for the country for...

    FREEDOM, OUR COUNTRY, OUR FAMILY

its just so sad that so many people dont know how different the world would be if those brave men and women did not go to war. the world would be full of death.

  • they were told it was the war to end all wars did it...no ww2 happend they were told the same thing...did the war end all wars no there is now terrorism and now the quetion is askd, will wars ever end and the answer is likely no. for the ones who died for us, show no mercy to the warstarters

  • its hard to belive that its almost 100 years ago and it almost forgotten and know its only going to me like 5 pages in a textbook....we need to honor these men!

  • Amen Brother!

  • 5 stars some of my family was in ww2. None in ww1. my brother doesn't care. Mom doesn't care . Dad doesn't care anymore. girlfriend the same. I feel like im alone. it's hard.

  • care about what ww1 or he war right now

  • Welcome to the club. I haven't met anyone who cares about the fallen, too. I seem to be the only one around here who does.

  • Thank you.

  • thats a very touching vid m8, my great grandad died in that war but he still lives on, good job making the vid m8 :')

  • awsome vid but here in canada we havent forgotten about that war

  • I can bet, considering how many Canadians fought in that terrible war.

  • @volunteerfireman987 Canadians played a huge role in the First World War. Our country's role in the war will never be forgotten, never.

  • @Litterboxer529 you know the English sent Irish out as cannon fodder before them so we would use up there fucking ammo but i still tribute the Wehrmacht

  • @TheMrcool90 Sadly, a lot of the commonwealth troops (the non-English ones) were used to clear the battlefield to make it easier for the others. Pretty inhumane.

  • @volunteerfireman987 does nobody here remember the Irish ?!

  • Good video. However in the UK this hideous war is certainly not forgotten. A war on that scale will never be forgotten. We have a poignant ceremony every 11th Nov (Armistace Day) and wearing poppies as an act of remembrance is a long standing tradition here

  • Brilliant work! It was great!

  • glad you made the vid!

  • awesome video 5/5

  • nice vid,

  • I'm glad you think so

  • that was really good.

    great job on it!

  • Thank you!
