Geez, we are talking about Virginia here. Virginia has gotten a cr@pload of people moving in during the last decade. Of course we need to raise taxes. We need more infrastructure. If McDonnell is all into jobs, then he needs to propose jobs for people to increase the Metro line and stop sending jobs overseas! Companies should be severely penalized if they want to save pennies by going overseas when they should be employing Americans.
If there was a better party to vote for then I would do it, but at this time the democratic party is looking out for us small guys, so my vote goes to them.

It's funny how you mentioned public schools. Our education system is failing due to teacher unions and the thought that more money will help when in reality, it doesn't. What helps is privitization. And I'd personally like to see the fire dept and police dept privitized. They would probably do a better job.
They let big businesses like Walmart come into small towns and run the small guys out of business. No regulations, they are given a free ticket to do anything and everything they want, and I am sick of it. The republican ideology revolves around money and religion, two big evils in my book.
Walmart also allows more jobs and more oppurtunities for people. Besides, economically, there will always be a small buisness that will grow to become a large corporation. And Wal-mart was one of them.

I think that is great, but the credit for that belongs to her, there should be no reason to vote for him because of what his daughter is doing. We need to look at him and see where he stands, will he be moving us forward or backwards. The way I see it, he is gonna take us back. I don't love deeds either but he doesn't scare me like Bob does. I don't have a problem to every republican, I have a problem with their ideology, they support big business and don't look out for 90 percent of us.

Like in a financial crisis we need more taxes...Deeds is planning on raising our taxes to pay for his transportation projects...it has to come from someones pocket and that would be you.

Wishful thinking Deepking! McDonnell won the debate by far. Poor Deeds didn't even have any signs up on the roads leading to the Homestead Resort... and that was his old district. Though, I did hear he had one homemade one out in a field made from hay stacks... McDonnell signs were everywhere.
I just watched this portion of the debate without really knowing either candidate, and for these 4 minutes, McDonnell was by far the stronger candidate.
