  • Chinese soldiers killed many Chinese people during the war. R.J Rummel claims that Chinese peasants "often had no less to fear from their own soldiers than they did from the Japanese."

Chinese government pinned thier crimes on Japanese soldiers.

China has no right to accuse Japan of crimes such as the Nanking Massacre because the massacre was made up story using fabricated evidence.

  • @undertakerRach

Fabricated? How can such a thing be fabricated when there are even testimonies by JAPANESE SOLDIERS THEMSELVES to the crimes that were committed. How can it be fabricated when there was a war crimes tribunal/ trial in TOKYO.

  • @closetotruth

I understand your writing, but do you understand mine?

  • All those welcoming Chinese mass in Nanking was staged for propaganda, a member of the Safety Zone Committee said in his diary that all those good deeds of giving away food and gifts were not to repeated without the reporters' cameras.

    LOL.

  • @undertakerRach

I don't deny that some Chinese soldiers were fanatic to the stage of killing other Chinese for civilians' cloths.

But that didn't disapprove Japanese soldiers not killing Chinese needlessly and mercilessly.

In fact the Japanese did not have enough supply to feed themselves all nor the civilians in Nanking.

The Japanese had the motives to murder Chinese massively.

  • @Thak11 (Part1)One of the pictures shows that many Nanking citizens, who had abhorred bad deeds done with the Chinese military in the city, welcomed the Japanese military after the Nanking battle. Japanese soldiers and the Nanking citizens in the picture wearing armbands of the flag of Japan and giving cheers, on the day of the Japanese military’s ceremonial entry into Nanking ("Sino-Japanese War Photograph News #15," the Mainichi Shinbun newspaper, published on Jan. 11, 1938)

  • @Thak11 (Part2) One of the pictures shows that Japanese soldiers gave gifts to Chinese citizens in Nanking. Photo from the British newspaper North China Daily News, published in China in English on December 24, 1937, eleven days after the Japanese occupation of Nanking.

  • Nowadays people can reseach many mummies which were find in Egypt. Many mummies were buried almost 5000 years ago. However, we can find what the cause of dead of them, or what they ate before they died, and so on. The so called Nanking Masacre was occured almost 70 years ago. China can find the details from the dead bodies. Why they don't want to reserch about the massacre? Why they could not find any conclusive evidence about that?

  • Some Chinese soldiers did those crimes were executed when found out later , so that was not a tactic to confuse Japanese soldiers.

By the way what kind of confusions could have made when Japanese did rapes on a large scale themselves.

  • @Thak11 Do you know so many Chinese soldiers escaped from the Nanking castle before the Japanese enterd in to the castle? They killed many Chinese people for getting thier dresses because they pretended to be civilians. James Esby said. Shame on China!

  • @undertakerRach Who is James Esby? Can you prove "James Esby" actually said that?

  • (Part2)After February 1938 when the camps were dissolved, rape was rare. Therefore, we are not able to trust the crimes of Japanese soldiers just as the Chinese representatives of the refugee camps claimed. The Chinese soldiers hiding in the Safety Zone camouflaged themselves to create the impression that looting and rapes had been committed by Japanese soldiers, to practice one of a series of Chinese strategies for the purpose of throwing Japanese soldiers into confusion."

  • (Part1)Tadao Takemoto and Yasuo Ohara point out about the alleged atrocities in Nanking: "The representatives of the refugee camps of nineteen places established in the Safety Zone were all the Chinese, except Miss Minnie Vautrin. Though those Chinese took charge of the maintenance of public order in these camps, there were some Chinese officers who camouflaged themselves as if they were citizens. And many cases of rape occurred in the refugee camps.

  • Why Chinese government edited at least 143 pictures in the Nanking Massacre Museum? Why Chinese government could not prove the murder of 340,000 when the IMTFE was opened?Where were 300,000 of dead bodies? Why many Chinese people came back to Nanking after Japanese occupied the city?

  • Thank you for the great book, Paula!

  • One of the pictures shows that Japanese soldiers were having a pleasant chat with Chinese citizens who are wearing armbands of the flag of Japan in Nanking. This photo was taken on 20, Dec. 1937, seven days after the occupation, and published in the pictorial book, Shina-jihen Shasin Zensyu, in 1938.

  • @undertakerRach

a chinese friend of my said that when her grandmother was a child, the japanese soldiers gave to her a candy, today she is still alive in good health

  • @jin54363 yes, I watched many pictures, which are made by the trustworthy sources, and coincided with the witness of over 100 Japanese correspondents dispatched to Nanking then. Japanese soldiers gave many gift to Chinese civilians. The pictures explanation said today is a Christmas day!

  • @undertakerRach You are a liar. You don't have any credible evidence to your claim. Japanese right-wing activists like yourself serves to disprove the Nanking massacre by spamming fictitious propaganda on youtube. You lie to yourself and to others. You vehemently refute historical facts instead of bringing the wrongs into light and educate the next generations the horrific atrocities committed by the Japanese during the war. You should be ashamed.

  • The very Communist China declared that the problem of Tibet is a problem relating to domestic affairs and refused the interference of the foreign nations. On the other hand, Chinese government is loudly denouncing the 'Nanking Massacre' which had been insisted on its happening more than sixty years ago even though the incident is not even clearly defined. Chinese propaganda is terrible!

  • One of the pictures shows that Japanese soldiers gave gifts to Chinese citizens in Nanking. Photo from the British newspaper North China Daily News, published in China in English on December 24, 1937, eleven days after the Japanese occupation of Nanking.

  • One of the pictures shows that Chinese people were sick or were wounded in a hospital in Nanking, and Japanese medics nursing them. This photo was from the North China Daily News on December 18, 1937, five days after the occupation of Nanking.

  • (Part4)According to the Documents of the Nanking Safety Zone, the Safety Zone Committee in China reported to the world about the number of victims in Nanking battle was 49 people in 1938. Mr. L.C Smythe reported 15,760 victims in 1938. Iris Chang said 300,000 in 1997 in her book The Rape of Nanking.(???)

  • Iris Chang was born in Urbana, Illinois, but her parents were born in China, and her first language was Chinese, not English.

  • Journalists who dabble in "history" and are not trained historians such as Iris Chang, are more interested in creating controversy which helps in selling books than in strict fidelity and adherence to the truth. Iris Chang was a journalist, read her in that manner, not as a historian.

  • Historical Archives are only as accurate as the person doing the research. Archives can be used to create a lie...

  • The 2 atomic bomb on Japan is well deserve.

  • 红炮子穿心抛尸荒野是有国难投,有家难归的地球弃民奢望的下场!

  • Iris Chang was enormously talented, driven but very ill. She wrote like a dream, worked harder than anyone else. Her books will endure as monuments to her and their subjects.

Paula Kamen did a great job and her book is a terrific look at an exceptional woman.

  • I read 'Finding Iris Chang' it's a well written and interesting book. Iris Chang was a great writer and I would

recommend 'The Rape of Nanking' or 'The

Chinese in America'. There was a special quality to Iris Chang

that is magnetic and alluring.God save her soul..
