How do you make the Nikon D7000 auto focus and stay focused on a subject on movie mode with out touching any buttons while recording? I need it to stay focused on me with out me checking if it is focused on me and not have another person record me while I need it to record me.
At this point, any type of continuous auto focus on a DSLR while shooting video is just a gimmick. The AF is only useful on stills. Manual focus is still the way to go for video. Which I prefer anyways since AF will never be smart enough to know what depth I want my focus to be at (if there are two people at different distances in frame).
@DeadRightHand Agreed. In still photography it is not a problem if the AF focuses on the wrong subject, you just try again, and it should find the right thing after a few tries. In video mode if the focus makes a mistake ONCE you can throw the whole video away.

Interesting video- thank you for posting.
If my Canon HV30 focused this well I'd send it back to camera as faulty!
