@masterofdarkness4533 Gaara never had anyone to bond with, not even his father or siblings, as they all despised and feared Shukaku that dwells within him. The person who was closest to being friendly with Gaara was Yashamaru, who was ordered to act to betraying him, which turned Gaara into a lonely sociopath. As such, Gaara did not understand the concept of fighting for anything other than himself until his confrontation with Naruto.

in the latest manga of naruto, Gaara is the general commander of the shinobi in the 4th great ninja war and Kabuto resurected Gaara's father. I think Gaara and the 4th Kazekage might have some kinda "father and son" connection in the next chapter

@LEEMOVIEMAKERS That's only part of it. The 4th Kazekage (Gaara's Father) purposely made everyone see him as a monster, and only let one person get close to him - his Uncle. If the Kazekage even showed Gaara the slightest bit of compassion, that would change, but no; he had to make him a weapon and have the person close to him secretly hate him. ON TOP of all of that, he gave the order for Gaara's only companion ot kill him.
