  • Oh religion! A touchy topic! It's prone to different interpretations.

  • This man is a muddled speaker and an even more muddled thinker.

  • The test of "I'll tell you what you said" is as good as Zhong Guo whispers.

  • Key quotes: "God is nothing but a figment of the brain". "People have trouble believing that our brains are us". "Religion is disgusting because it makes people kill each other in the name of a god who is nothing but a figment of the brain". Professor Jackelen kills her own argument by quoting actual science and misinterpreting scientific goals. Scientific research only proves that God is highly unlikely to exist. No scientific study has ever claimed that it is definite that god does not exist.

  • The quotes she mentioned previously, are not products of scientific research but rather, the personal speculations of scientists not in official studies. This is quite deceptive as she tries to devalue scientific research with quotes derived from some very unscientific speculations.

  • how to download youtube video other than vdownloader which should have resumable property

  • After all, You are what you eat :)

  • Here is a theory

We know DNA is changed my chemicals and radiation. Perhaps we share common DNA with all living things not through a commonality of ancestry, but a commonality of environment.

  • If you take two separate species, apply the same radiation of the same magnitude to their DNA. Mutations will occur at the same rate and at the same site! This shows mutations are not random but unpredictable! Even with the most sensitive and controlled environment, variables in that environment are infinite. This is what makes these mutations unpredictable.

  • There is surely no reason to persecute those who would illustrate feasible commonality between science & religion by shining light upon the gaps in our long-held laws of science (which were themselves long persecuted.)

  • bullshit atheism!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Had you but listened, you would realize how inappropriate is your comment.

  • And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. -Genesis 1: 28

    God said, "...subdue the earth..."

Scientst used to study according to the will of God until they became lovers of themselves. And the things they discovered they glorified themselves instead of God, the Creator of science...so sad.

  • Actually...

Science as it is today is based on teachings of the ancient Greeks (Hail Eris!) , who weren't christian and didn't "study according to the will of God" as you claim.

What is sad is that there are still people who think earth is a flat disc, and people who are willing to lie, cheat and openly deceit their followers to believe their B.S. arguments about the nature of the world, without even possessing rudimentary knowledge of science or modern results of science.

  • Eris can kiss my buttox.

  • "The words of the Foolish and those of the Wise

Are not far apart in Discordian Eyes."

(HBT; The Book of Advise, 2:1)

    Hail Eris

    All Hail Discordia

  • She kisses mine every day.

  • Probably. She can be slutty at times.

We met at certain S&M club Last Thursday...

  • Actually...

Eris is a certain god created by Satan.

  • Actually...

Satan is psychological manifestation of your subconscious fear and guilt, that can be cured by consulting your pineal gland.

If it doesn't work, try appendix. It works almost as well.

If your appendix has been removed, you'll reincarnate as Mao Button and be distributed to the poor in the Region of Thud.

    Enjoy.

Wipe thine ass with what is written and grin like a ninny at what is Spoken. Take thine refuge with thine wine in the Nothing behind Everything, as you hurry along the Path.

  • quite an interesting talk, ive always asked the chance question at the start using a pack of cards, if you pick out 10 random cards, if you put the cards back you will as a probability never see those 10 cards issued randomly again as the probability is unquantifiable as it would take longer than a lifetime.
