Well my perception of Geeks,Nerds and Dorks are because of my cousin. He drew a wheel that contained Intelligence,Social awkwardness,Obsession. Geeks had Intelligence and Obsession,Nerds had all 3 and Dorks had Social awkwardness and Obsession. So I view myself as a Geek and some of my friends as them. While I view some of my friends as Nerds. The rest don't even fall in those 3 catagories

geeks were so called weirdos and only got attention because they were weird, it's also the definition of a geek. A nerd is much more self respecting than a geek, they know who they are and aren't afraid to show it, also most of the time they are really witty and charismatic, but don't like the public so much as their fellow nerds. Really, do your homework first and stop acting like your better.

Wheaton is one of the few scifi actors who are even a little close to the character they play. Case in point Patrick Stewart who turned out to be a freak : ) and nothing at all like Captain Picard.

I think it would be nice symmetry if Wheaton took it further and maybe became a host for UFO shows or even life long UFO investigator. pretty cool if he was involved in first contact : ) although I should be there as well. he is after all only an actor :)
