wow, a complete fucking moron. If you'd bother to look at any of my other videos, you'd see that i'm a professional musician. I play 7 instruments, and can sight read on all of them. I've been making a living performing LONGER THAN YOU'VE BEEN ALIVE. You should learn to respect all forms of music. you obviously have a lot to learn. PLUS, after looking at your channel, there are NO videos of your "expertise". Not one. Grow the fuck up kid, or I'll tell mommy on you.

  • @DrFunk7777 Hahaha, Maybe cos I'm not a show-off? nice one dickwad.

  • @DrFunk7777 it's sad cause its like u know he just doesnt get it if he's just watching vids 2 talk shit, creating sampled based compositions is 2 outside the box for people 2 understand so they over simplify it in their own heads n talk shit i got a mpc 500 n love it!!!!! check my beats sometime my latest is caled Dutch McRollUp

  • @saracenbiker94 Amen brother! MPC, is like drums for dumb people.

  • @saracenbiker94 Amen brother! MPC, is like drums for dumb people. And the tempo in this is way off.

  • @saracenbiker94 its morons like you who need a diary... unplug your internet or turn off your router and go sit in your bedroom and write all your problems down, when you've done have a younger sibling come in your room and take it and read it and have fun with their friends on your behalf... thanks man we appreciate you.

  • @saracenbiker94 the MPC is a real instrument... people hate what they do not understand! your ignorance betrays you!

  • @saracenbiker94 I'm 8 month late but...OWNED!! BIATCH!!

the machine have it or u should upload it from your pc ?

  • If u use an MPC you can choose between recording it with the analog input or use the USB mode.

On an MPD there's only the USB mode.

  • yup

  • @SkizProd eazy would not be bad too ;)

  • it's a guilty pleasure. ;)

  • The only thing this beat needs is Will Smith (circa 1989) rhymin' behind it.

  • "Rock The House" was one of my first pieces of vinyl. ;)

  • so uh wheres the video of your awesome mpc work since your so good?

  • of course the 500 works the same im sellin one for 400 if your interested it usually cost 600

  • 高くて手が出ません

    (´;ω;`)

    Very nice music!!

    :-)

  • thanks!

  • Damn, that was tight old-school soundin ish!

  • yep, I'm 38. I'm as old school as can be. ;)

  • Man 12 pads seem so little to work with after using 16. Dope samples though, nice.

  • I love your Production at 1min 30.

"..gotta get busy in dis muthafucka" :) Ok ,Papy!

    Very good job Doctor Funk!

  • thanks!

  • MPC500 sounds more HiFi - clear Hights and very transparent. Want hear the 1000 next to these two...

  • let me borrow your 1000, and i'll hook it up! ;)

  • can u sample from a 45?

  • of course. you can sample from anything that makes a sound. that's what a sampler does. just plug it in bro. you'll just need some RCA/1/4" adapters.

  • (pad 3 of course in the mpc 500 part)

  • i dont have my mpc yet and i have a question, can you record those kicks(?) on the pad 3 and then just play the rest with the same result? i hope you understand my english, peace;]

    and btw, DOOPE video, props

  • Very sound advice..."You gotta get busy in dis muthafucka"!!!....so profound...LOL!!!!

JK.. very dope beat... I don't think I have the coordination for playing live (thank god for quantize) 5-stars!!!

  • thanks!

  • cool

  • Tired my consoles, but I must admit that you are good.

  • if this is a video showing your skills on an mpc it's good. however if you are actually working on a track, i'd stop and really give some consideration. your bass is too flat, you are using too many vocal samples. your highs aren't crisp enough. and your snare needs some middle ground.

try to add in a sub bass drum as well on top of your kick, you'll get more out of it.

  • i hate sub bass shit. I like flat kicks and snares. nice and simple. In truth, these are quick and direct samples from Primo. No added EQ or Comp. Just the sample (which was already EQ'd & Comp) I guess what you're saying is you don't like Premier? Sorry man, i like his music a little better than yours. It's personal taste, and i don't make music so other people will like it. I do it for myself. I NOTICE YOU HAVE NO VIDEOS MAKING MUSIC. go make one and show everyone how talented you are.

  • really good, pity the sound (most of all of snare) is so dry!! looks like cutted after half sec

  • dry makes me happy. I HATE reverb. no verbs back in the day....yep, cutoff at the end. The same effect you'd get from a gate. i like it.

  • could you tell me how you load your samples onto your MPC. IS there a way to transfer samples from a CD?

  • usb man. right to the card. (or HD if you've got a 2500)

put the CD in the 2500.

for the 500, put the CD in the computer, drag and drop to the MPC

  • thats real fuckin good

  • thank u!

  • Very tight live drumming and good choice of samples man ;)

I have the 500 and it defo adds a bit more punch to the sound (colours it a bit), but I think i'd like to get a 2500 or 5000 for the multiple outs

    again, nice playing dude!

  • thanks. It's crazy how many comments are about the sounds...good or bad. It's like people talking about flavors of ice cream. HAHAHAHA!!!

those extra outputs on the 2500 are niiiiiiiiiiiiice!

  • yo man,

    real beatmaking yo!

  • that's how we did it back in the day, right?

    =)

  • dope as hell

  • thanks J

  • dopeee

  • Nice

  • LMMFAO

  • Very good man!Excellent track!

  • Seriously!

I think he rather wants feedback on his performance,

    not his gear.

If anybody would complain about how better the other mpcs are,

    then hook him up already.

and oh yeah, that was some sick ass moves!

  • All you haterz just need to shut the fuck up already.

Let the man do his thing.

  • Yo if you like hiphop and u wanna here some dope beats peep the page

  • i dont matter what size mpc sp or mv you got....

  • if thats the case then how many albums have you made?

  • check itunes, "sounescavations" vol.2 out this summer....d.fuzzone

  • You don't even know how many major producers like Dj Vadim or Dj Wich are using mpc 500 in live acts.... It's worth the many it cost. When your making shit an mpc 4000 won't even help you.

  • lol are you serious? Dude any sampler that you have to put batteries into is shit. The 500 maxes out at 10 dec. The 4000 is 4 times that. The maximum memory on the 500 is 128 MB. Every producer you have seen in your entire life has a 4000 and has been used on live shows since they were first made. So please explain to me how a 4000 wont help you?

  • Madlib made a lot of beats using the boss sp303. The sp303 is the same size than the mpc500. Your say that the 4000 has more memory than the 500. Premier is using 2 mb of ram from the s950 (sequenced with mpc60) to make beats. mpc 1000 has max 128 ram and cool & dre made on it beats for the game. Dude i didn't say that the 4000 is a crap. It is a powerfull tool for beats but it is big and weighst a lot and the mpc 500 is designed for mobility (to make beats in the park) and for live acts...

  • LOL. Just saw the back and forth talk. But I ain't gonna lie. The MPC 500 is a dope little muthafucka!!! I have done tons of beats on it. Noting wrong with the MPC 4000, but I do love the fact that I can be around a band or person playing an instrument, make a beat and song right there, and take the MPC to my studio or friends house to peep it out. So the MPC 500 doesn't deserve to be called a piece of shit =)

  • you can change the memory span dumb ass!!!!!!!

  • it only goes to 512 megbits.. retard.. try knowing what you are talking about before looking like a moron

  • not everyone in this world has that kind of money we work with what we have~if you can sample on a mpc500 who says you cant on a 4000, nobody just jumps on the 4k you gotta start somewhere

  • Think of it like this dude. You are going to buy an MPC 500 and eventually want something bigger and stronger. Im not saying that the MPC is worthless, its just a waste of time buying something that you can only do so much with. An MPC 500 is 600 bucks brand new..If you could save 300 more, you would be able to buy a 4000 on ebay. So why waste time in buying something small when you can skip all that and learn big

  • Agree with you...

    This is just a toy

  • nice work

  • cool

  • I think this video supports the idea of not needing the latest and most expensive equipment to do good music, the 500 kicks it just as good as the 2500.

"It won't make a bad DJ Good, But it'll make a good DJ better" ~DJ Shadow

  • lol nice dude!

  • check out my mpc500 beats

  • I crossed over to digital, but that's cool to still see people using external equipment. cool beat! check my song out!

  • can you arrange the samples on the pads for the mpc or does it have to be through computeR?

  • you can do either. Both methods take about the same time for me....just like the MPC OS a little better.
