Daggerfall - Innkeeper quest

Man, that's mad... I just happened to randomly view this video and it contains all the music from a mod I did for Morrowind. I rerecorded the midi and added lots of strings, guitar and horns (actual real instruments).

Actually hearing this on a random Daggerfall video almost 10 years later is pretty awesome. I just found all my original music files recorded on Cakewalk too! That's made my day!

I love how that blonde female leader seemed to drop a pile of clothes that was covering her armour and move to another room so you saw she was a Barbarian!

I know it wasn't a pile of clothes strictly, but this games let's you imagine things the way these quests play out!

you can search those cloth piles for gold and sometimes armor.

@Borin81 In fact, click on everything! Amazing how many don't know about clicking on the small table with the circle of candles in front so the bookcase moves to reveal treasure in the training dungeon, for example!

or that sometimes ordinary chairs in dungeons can be revealed to be secret elevators to one of those teleporting brickwalls.

but you can also simply climb over those bookcases.

@Borin81 Yes, of course you can climb over the bookcases, but if you click on that table and see the bookcase open, it tells you there are other things you may try to click on. If you miss it you can go through a lot of the game not knowing about clicking on things!

You asked that girl about that dead guy, then two people show up (Probably those who murdered that dead guy) and try to beat you. You then turn into a werewolf and kill 'em all !!

It's a nice character to play and the role-play here is interesting...

Damn I hope I'll find a way to get Daggerfall to run smoothly enough on my PC to actually be playable.

Unfortunately graphics are all that matters these days. Oblivion SUCKED. Mass Effect and Resident Evil 5 looked good, but of course they're LINEAR. Most gamers don't know what the fuck an open-ended game is. I'll take that over graphics any fucking day.

I actually enjoyed that Morrowind/Oblivion rant. It's ridiculous how much outrage it caused. Quite frankly, the ES series has been experiencing a progressive decline in quality ever since Daggerfall came out. Just because Boilerplate had the balls to turn those sentiments into a video didn't mean that every Oblivion fan needed to go flame him.

morrowind elder scroll+half life 2. a modern elder scrolls, perhaps with big cities. and the alot of people to interact with. vehicles, trains to transport to another city or area, or just walking.

What would make exelent RPG guys...C'mon think of it...Ok ill tell ya: Oblivion graphix + daggerfall gameplay. from oblivion like lockpicking and little bit more realistic sword fighting, but from oblivion many spell effects are missing.

I'm sure that some people will suggest things like the 'hand gesture' magic system from 'The Summoning'and the puzzle locks from 'Betrayal at Krondor' as well but some of these games had flaws that could make further research difficult if not daunting. Still, if someone hasn't turned these ideas into plugins, perhaps an expert with these (among other) titles could translate them via the (updated?) construction set? (and include maps from Bethesda's other Elder Scrolls titles as well)
