  • It would be amasing if someone could give me the sheet music of this version. I love it!

  • Did he really plat the piano?

  • @DaniloCamargo nah heh wasnt playing here

  • One of Frank's best songs

  • The two people who disliked this video should die.

  • @Mawilk Let's not wish that. It's just that they haven't lived yet!

  • @TheTrueCinemaphile

Ha ha ... you're right, but they gotta live a lot if Frank and Cole aren't appealing to them! :D

  • The vamp @ 1:52 plus the selection of key - C minor/E-flat major - suggest that Herbie Hancock may have used this version as a basic blueprint for his own arrangement of "Just One of Those Things"....

  • Frankie was really cool. He was great in this Barney Sloan role in Young At Heart wit Doris Day ...awesome film. ,...Frank. The Chairman of The Board. ...never be another like him. Thanks much for posting. -Mario

  • Does anyone have sheet music for this?

  • @icrone92 I can message you the chords if you want?

  • As a professional vocalist, after seeing the comment about Jamie Cullum's version of this classic Cole Porter tune, I had to check out his rendition of Just One Of Those Things. I'd give it a pretty good, but not amazing. This version right here, is the ultimate rendition. Period !

  • who has heard Jamie Cullums' version of this song, just as amazing!

  • I didn't know Frank played piano.

  • Thumbs up if the Catcher in the Rye brought you here

  • it did...just now it did.

  • @ManmadeTyler yep, nail on the head there. i kind of think its a really awful book, maybe it'll get better?

  • When I was younger, I found Sinatra's lyrics so clumsy in their bluntness but now, older, I appreciate the simplicity. Songs like this are so completely perfect and accurate that's it's almost scary.

  • if you compare this to Doris Day's version, you can see how much interpretation matters. Here, the song starts so simply understated and it grows with Sinatra. Just beautiful

  • i only heard of this song is when i was reading "the catcher in the rye":when holden and the blondie was dancing.

  • this is my favorite version of this song

  • so amazing!!!!

  • Diffidare dalle imitazioni...

  • he swings like no one else--but i wish he'd leave the words alone.

  • he swings like no one else

  • After all is sung and done Old Blue Eyes was the best!

  • Amazing!

  • Frank singing "Just One of Those Things/One of Those Nights..."

  • beautiful singing. does anybody know could he actually play piano or no im just curious.

  • No, he isn't as several films show Frank playing the piano, but as far as I know he couldn't play it, just stuck to singing and reading music.

  • @dumplingshakes22

no, he did not play piano, that was a scene from a movie. he has made other versions of Just One of Those Things and every one is great.

  • One Of Frank's best songs

  • Frank Sinatra once said this was the saddest song ever written. So many people have sung this song fast but Frank knew the correct interpretation of this sad song.

  • Really wonderful.

  • this is the best OF the best.

  • he hypnotizes me

  • The film is Young at Heart

  • just to let vivisito know its young at heart with doris day

  • What film! What film!

  • His beautiful voice just floats out of him...seemingly so effortlessly. Love it. And this song. Thank you!

  • which movie is that?

  • There were guys like Frank Sinatra and Joe DiMaggio that made me proud to be Italian.

  • beautiful pure and simple.......

  • AWESOME!

  • Sinatra at his best super song nice video

    thanks gfks11 for sharing

  • Fascinating song and performance as well, no wonder, he was an acteur too and what an acteur btw...

  • Got this movie on video, after along time trying to find it :) But then DVD's came out :( WAS sooo not happy because just after DVD's came out my video play stoped working, so could not watch it (my fav movie) still looking for it on DVD eaven now :( Any idea's people, where I can find it????

  • theres usually some people on ebay which can copy whats on a video onto a DVD (unless its the video itself you broke). People do it with their kids baby videos and that. Take a look into it. :)

  • " YOUNG AT HEART " GREAT MOVIE....

  • 6 billion people on this planet but only one who could do this!

  • A master at work!

  • genius

  • Very special and wonderful.

  • One of my favourite films!!!! Young at heart & the adorable Barney Sloane!!!

  • There were guys like Frank Sinatra and Joe Dimagio that made me proud to be italian :)))

  • @deakyzsolt what a shame, now adays theres people like lady gaga (real name stefani germanotta) and snooki & the gang from the situation

  • @deakyzsolt you do know sinatra was deeply involved with the mafia rigth?

  • @wcoo He was extremely talented. Nobody could sing like him.I personally don't care about his mafia relations. You don't know the truth about him and the mafia and neither do I.

Anyways, for me he is the best.

  • @deakybb relax friend, i was only joking, i love this man too and consider his music as the soundtrack of my life

  • @wcoo Everybody is entitled to his/her opinion and so are you. It might be different than mine...

    I love his music too.

  • I love frank sinatra, I mean he draws fans from all ethnics, being black and supposing to like rap those not apply with me because I'm the only one of my family who likes this kind of music. I love jazz and highstandards.

  • Comment removed

  • @ShawnJazz Being black and liking jazz makes perfect sense..Imagine jazz without the "black" musicians..scary thought.. ,-) Thank God, " Frankie boy "had friends among all ethnicities , he knew it takes all colours to make a raibow ;-)

  • What movie is this?

  • young at heart :)

  • He was so excellent in this film but it was as if he'd wandered in from a film noir shooting in the adjacent studio, because the rest of the film just wasn't up to him.

And in the very last scene, the tacked on happy ending, he looks a like a man trapped in Suburban Hell. Bless him.

  • frank gives me a boner every time!

  • "A trip to the moon, on gossemar wings"

Classic song, and a classic singer! Five Star rating!

  • great song got the style

If we'd thought a bit before the end of it

When we started painting the town

  • This song was really one of those fabulous flights... Thank you! ;( Never forget the feeling.

  • It was really one of those things... Thank you dear Frank!

  • Sinatra in top form here.

  • WOW

  • I'm wit you. haha

This is so beautiful, the way he sings...is just...like no other in the world.

Rest in Peace Frankie, we all miss you very much.
