  • Look at showtime at 03:28.

  • best point guard ever

  • i miss ur game, Johnson :(

  • can you upload the endings of the NBA Superstar please the song in the ending is always awesome to l

  • but he didn't beat jordan in the finals in 1991 :)

  • He's truly a good man, you can see it when he talks. Best friend Divac had in Lakers and still their friendship lasts, may God help him fight that ugly desease

  • the best point guard ever in the history of the game!!!!!!

  • regreso ami infancia donde tenia mis escasos 14 años

  • My favorite part of the video has always been at 3:52, when they transition from him pre- and post-career, and the music reaches that crescendo. I think that part is so beautiful. Honestly, I get choked up each time I watch it, because I remember how I felt as a kid seeing him on the court during that ASG.

    Greatest Laker ever. Period.

  • I used to watch this tape every day after school at the AAF sports library in LA my eighth and ninth grade year. Love this tribute.

  • @schooling Chris Mullin... everyone in the NBA schooled Chris Mullen, he was only in the NBA because he was a great shooter, he was horrible at defense. Great tribute.

  • I think it's fitting this was the last video on the NBA Superstars 2 tape. Magic says it all

  • I have real easy ways to grow taller naturally.

    Watch my channel.

  • lol magic, his nickname says it all!!!

  • I used to have NBA Superstars 2 on VHS and me and my older brother used to watch this everday when we were little. Great video and definitely a tear jerker. Can't help but get emotional each I time I watch this video.

  • Hope all of you have checked out Magic Johnson NBA Superstars, the first one.

  • In my opinion, WITHOUT the LAKERS, there's IS NO NBA!

  • should not have cheated on wife

  • @godFATHERfrazer Yes, probably HUNDREDS of times but there's no way becoming terminally ill is fair to say about someone who helped change the face of an entire sport. You should know better than that...

  • This video started my love for basketball.

  • 1:23 fucking ROFLMAO

  • where can i get dis song from??? been lookin everywhere for it....cant download it anywhere....any1 know?

  • The best player ever to play basketball....No doubt about it...

  • @niniopelon : Not MJ?

  • @rgmillikan2 without bird and magic.. there will be no mj... they are legends.. the best in different ways

  • Amazing.

  • dammn bitchboy u gotta stop smoken that crack pipe fckn up your retarded brain even more

  • u need too die

  • A 6'9" point guard who could do it all...and don't forget his rookie year in the finals clincher against the sixers with Kareem out with an ankle injury, Magic started at center...and only had 42 pts, 14 assists, and 11 rebounds. That's clutch!! Next to the late great Len Bias is my favorite all time player regardless of level!!

  • @nsuspartanlegion 42 points , 15 rebounds and 7 assists

  • @jordanpopov1 thanks for the correction

  • Too much talent for one man only.

  • this guy is my freakn idol.. hes was so talented with passing , the hook shot.. the dribbles.. he was a almost 7 foot piont guard. i luv u magic... im still trying to learn those moves u did on 3:23 and 3:37

  • How cool was/is Magic?

He beat the 76ers, Celtics, and Pistons.

And when he was done beating opponents on the court, he went on and beat HIV too.

The guy is just made of Win, I tell you...

  • I second that

  • bc he was so great.

  • y do they call him magic?

  • becuase hes magic

  • This one's probably the best video on YouTube. Nearly fuckin' made me cry, I'm serious.

  • best best

    i love magic

  • Magic was the greatest point guard ever. In 1991, the only reason MJ won was because the lakers were getting old.

  • Please Someone Bring us Back the Real NBA :( We Miss the Golden 80`s and The Early 90`s!

Thanks Stern for Killing the NBA!

  • Bring Back MJ,Magic Johnson, Larry Bird, Charles Barkley All Of Them

  • Now that I FEEL and I respect.. When I see this young kids running theor mouth talking about Kobe Bryant is the best ever.. Complete lunacy.. Kobe would have been a GOOD player in that era not a great one. Their are no more great defenders in the league BUT in that era you had men.. no superstars who could score and handcuff you too. It brings tears to my eyes to see how watered down this league has become. High School players wouldnt dare come out for they knew their skill level was not on par.

  • 2:53 ... Byron Scott one of the most underrated dunkers of all time. Gotta love Magic pass too!!!

  • I cried when I heard Magic Johnson was retiring because of HIV in Nov. 1991. Who could replace his enthusiasm and the quarterback (pg) of the best fast breaking teams ever. I also got teary-eyed when I saw the 92 all-star game too. I guess I get into the game too much. I still like the song in Superstars 1 better. I am glad he came out of retirement in 95-96 and ended his career the way he wanted to. I am also happy that he's still alive today and is excelling in his business endeavors.

  • back when b-ball was about winning and hard nose playing , not like now ..b-ball has gone down ever since jordan left ...

  • Anyone knows the name of that song?

  • Ok the song is there. I didin't see it;-)

  • oh yeah, to add on to my earlier comment--what a great video this was! Man, Magic was something else...we'll never see another like him. Boy, was I lucky to grow up in the Jordan, Johnson and Bird era. Bring back the ball of the ol' days...and while were at it bring back the rap of the early 90s too! Will it ever be as good as it used to be?

  • I am feeling all that.....in fact thats all I listen to is early 90's rap. T.R.O.Y (They Reminisce Over You) is still the best rap song ever.

  • I think this music is indicative of Magic not being alive. Remember we all thought that AIDS wasnt controllable.

  • I think Davis hit it. This music set the tone after we thought Magic wasn't going to be around much longer.

  • Magic = Janet Jackson's "Control" was MUCH MUCH better.

  • yup

  • you see it's two differant stages of his career. I was 10 at the time I see the control one its like late 80s magic at his best. Here with patti austin we didn't know about hiv and we all thought aside from his career being over he'd be dead. Both are good

  • I recognize that but I'm against it being on a Superstars video. My objection to this song is similar to my objection of Dr J using "Greatest Love of All". And this song was such a dropoff from Control that you start to wonder if Magic died then and there. In fact, even with HIV, Magic was still one of the healthiest people around.

The only slow song that worked was "Take My Breath Away" with MJ only because you get to fully appreciate MJ's ability in slomo.

  • cool footage didnt enjoy music

  • Greatest PG and commander on the field EVER

  • me too i used to rent this video and i owned it the music was great and so was the basketball on it

  • This is the best video of the greatest PG ever. Too bad that he got AIDS or else he would have won more rings and probably would have set more records.

  • This was the best video on the tape. I used to rent this video tape like every other week.

  • @jaymoody456 Haha. I rented it a few times myself there.

  • Great video for the greatest point gurd of all time.
