Um, sorry to say, any shotgun will kill you at point blank in one shot. Unless your L86 can 1 shot people, i'm sorry to say, no, it will not kill faster than shotguns at point blank. The only one you have a CHANCE against is the spas 12 and the striker because the spas-12, if you miss you die, and the striker does the least damage of the non-automatic shotguns.

It's best to use Sleight of Hand Pro so your aiming-down-sights time is reduced, because for LMGs there's a significant delay. Use Stopping Power with this gun and you'll get 2-shot kills everytime (makes a BIG difference), or Lightweight if you don't want to be slowed down (LMGs slow your running speed). And of course, Steady Aim if you want to have good spraying accuracy (I prefer SitRep Pro though). As for attachments, all you should need is the grip.

lol ive used this gun for real but you use 30rd magazines and in 3 round birsts. anything more that 30 rounds in 20 seconds fuckes up her rifleing. a cadet got shouted at cos he went full auto for the hole 30 rds and had 2 take his test again.

use bling with fmj and the heartbeat sensor. you can view the whole sensor while sighted in...and since you can shoot through walls easily all you do is aim at the red dots. Its particularly hilarious on scrapyard...just shoot at the airplanes and you get kills. I don't find the grip helps much at all. I can use it just fine without it. And the iron sights arn't bad either

I like sleight of hand, stopping power and steady aim for this gun with the grip attachment. It's a great gun, but I have to use sleight of hand pro because it's a LMG which means it takes forever to aim and reload. And the hipfire isn't too good that's why i use steady aim.

I find it ironic that people laugh when you use this gun, because who's really laughing when they get caught reloading their 20-shot clip while your 100-shot belt is turning their face into Swiss cheese .. not to mention those guys that pop out to attack when you stop firing because they assume you're reloading; 2 seconds later they're face down in the dirt lol ... the iron sights may take a while to get used to, but it's well worth it. If you want a grenade launcher just use the Thumper w/ it.

I think if you put a grip and fmj on any LMG its a killing machine. I have just unlocked all attachments for this gun and i still hate it.

Theres way too much recoil, its not accurate enough, its not powerfull enough, the iron sight is awful.

I tried a Grip and FMJ but i still cant use it because of the stupid iron sight.

Any recomendations for attachments?

I love this gun. First off, the bullets sound like they are hitting like stones when they make contact with an enemy. And second off the rate of fire causes the kill to death time up close to match that of the TAR and Vector. Essentially, this is the TAR of LMG's.

Just started using this gun today. I'm not very good against campers and noob tubers. I usually only go like 16-19 (i have a 1.19kd).

I used this gun and like every match I was going 36-14, 25-0, 29-3, 33-0. It just kills so fast, its so accurate with bling holographic grip. And the acog for that gun looks so fucking badass and weird. Not to mention for some reason with that gun every attachment alters it in some major way. its weird, its so diverse for a LMG. I love it, its my new favorite gun.

@DontKillMeFool I also like the RPD more, but the L86 is really good if u burstfire long-distance. Also, you can get some insane multikills because it mows down people short to medium range. I think a more suitible name for it would have been the Mega-Uzi.
