As far as i know 720p videos on this cam are taken in 16:9 resolution. This video has never been HD!

Thats because the editing software he used he didnt export it as 1280x720.

Hey dude sounds like you got a nice camera but your not going to get a good quality out of it unless you get a nice editing software such as sony vegas pro 8. then you will have to render it in eather 720p or Full 1080HD :P
