i kinda like AC2 since its in italy and the buildings look nicer plus ezio has pretty cool uniform it looks almost like rouge assasin armor

ac1's climbing is more realistic. I mean ezio climbs so fast I think it looks fake. but fast is a good thing.

well in ac2 ezio climbs slow too, you just have to release the right trigger or r2 in a ps3 case

It's probably just me but it seems to me that the textures in AC1 look a lot better than AC2. It just looks as less buggy.
