I am Muslim, I will sacrifice a sheep on Monday, I will give a third to the poor, one third to relatives, and I'll keep the rest for me and my family. that's Islam, sharing and doing good

@mm4u1986 I would not dispute that. This particular sacrifice happens on a massive scale and much of the meat is left to rot and spread disease. These animals have died for the most part without cause. Yet I pray too for the soul of the sheep, for animals also pray to God.

I hope all religions will stop sacrificing these poor helpless animals to satisfy our taste buds and bellies, Palden Dorje's 2008 powerful message saids humans are killing all the animals and in the end, also killing ourselves !

This happened 6 months ago and now look at the renewed political trouble in Nepal, there is no agreement, no constitution, indefinite bandha and we can only pray that the Maobadi won't be setting off car bombs again like in '07, kidnapping, etc. Globally there is environmental degradation, greed, and war. Like Palden Dorje says Dharma is the only solution. He and others who follow true dharma like HHDL and HE Garchen Rinpoche are hope for this hurting world.

Animal slaughter is mindless and bloody carnage, There is no book in the world, past present and future, where this kind of senseless killing is some kind of law,

not to eat meat has other benefits too, to our health, and no one will die if they dont eat meat, Or not these amounts, Why dont the sacrificers sacrifice their own kind.

Then it would really be sacrifice, Not those innocent animals, Hurt and kill yourself, then sacrifice will fill the word with honesty and meaning,

I'm giving up the false "I" (ego) and I'm taking the vote of a bodhisattva as well and I'll engage in the same cause of beloved Palden. I'm already vegetarian and animal protector from the age of 5 to 6 of this body, and now is the time to give up the self and engage definitely for the cause of the Self. We came to save the animals and we won't fail, I assure you.

What is the point of animal sacrifice? Are many people doing anything to stop this? What do they do with the dead animals?

The point is to please Divine Mother. (?)There are many vegetarian hindus who wish to put a stop to these kinds of offterings who will undoubtedly attend along with inter-religious organizations who are pursuing animal rights in Nepal. The dead animals are often resold as food.

That's right. If you see the latest video, the inter-religious meeting, you will also see an Islamic leader-in fact all the spiritual leaders pronounced that animal sacrifice, in fact all sacrifice of living beings is not the appropriate approach to true spirituality.

I'm with you if it help's any.You have a great soul. How does one repell a nephilim or anunaki or grey alien?. What is fact & what is made up to suit the evil"negetive" beings.  All life even the smallest is just as important. As far as advanced being's you would think creation over destruction, to destroy or kill is simple, to create & let live is harder.Sometimes war is the only way? or is it not. i've learned from history that the peaceful one's always get run right over by the evil one's!!!.
