Awesome Video of your daughter Mackenzie with autsim. My 15 yrs old boyfriend has Autism plus Down Syndrome. I am 17 yrs old with Hemiplegia Cerebral Palsy.
my sister, who turns 5 tomorrow :) may have a mild form of aspergers. the psychologist suggested that we take a holistic approach by giving her a children's dose iron supplement and an omega-3 supplement along w/ DHA multivitamin to help w/ brain development. also, she suggested that we try play therapy so that she can learn some coping skills. thank you for this vid, it is beautiful and it touched my heart :)
Thank you. I tried some mild Chelation but with so many contradictory facts it was hard to justify continuing it. I think it was split cell chlorella, ASA and celantro. It seemed to make some changes but they were temporary. We recently completed a Social cognitive group in ann arbor that she enjoyed with A Dr. Solomon and Bowers at the Ann Arbor Center for Developmental &
Behavioral Pediatrics. I wish there were more programs like that in the schools.
IF the face of autism was as beautiful and bright as your daughter; one would never want to find a cure for the disorder.
I think in Mackenzie's case it is blessing of hope and a challenge of faith. She will be a beacon for those who come after because her Daddy loves her so much.
What a wake up call to parents everywhere, including myself. Sometimes we take every little thing for granted - thank you for making an incredible video about your beautiful daughter. Nicolina sent me the link, and I'm so thankful she did.
MacKenzie was so cute as a baby but she really has turned into a beautiful little girl. You've made a amazing video and I feel lucky to have been able to watch her progress so well. With such a wonderful family I'm sure she will continue to make huge advances in her life.
