You are saying that in order to avoid any attacks or investigations of your god you must bury him 'outside' the world and the universe where noone can see or detect him. 1) He never properly answered the initial question.

2) His public square analogy is fine, but gives the atheists opinions they generally don't have. Every atheist (I prefer rationalist) would say 'Let them into the square and to say what they wish, but also let us point out why what they're saying is wrong. Let all of us have our say, and then the undecided masses can make up their own minds.'

Dsouza says that the Greeks created their gods to be like humans. But isn't the bible god Jealous and Vengeful and he craves Love and Praise? That's pretty human sounding to me (and a good reason to believe that the bible god is man-made).

Once again - I fail to see any logic in Dsouza's arguments.

well you have to understand we ARE made in Gods image, not the other way around. God is spirit, not a human being. And part of God is his charateristics; (love peace anger happiness.)

theres only one way to find out if God is man made... everyone is born without God and then finds him. so that makes us all athiest's at one point. my question to you is, have YOU tryed God yet?

God is not "something" we are enabled to discover.

God is SOMEONE who possesses Intelligence, therefore has the capacity to communicate.

He has REVEALED to us and left us a message for us to know.

Jesus Christ claims to be such Revelation.

The dilemma is, how will we know?

As "every good tree bears good fruit"(Matt 7:16), when we witness the fruits of BELIEVING AND PRACTICING the Christian Faith, we will recognize GOD through Christ.

It is up to us to answer to His call.
