Brady had deion branch and troy brown. they were not as good as harrison but they were pretty good. especially when brady had a killer defense to give him the ball in good field position. brady doesnt call plays, manning does. brady has all the plays neatly listed for him on wristband, manning doesn't need one. brady may not have had a full staff of receivers but he had a complete TEAM (teams win superbowls not quarterbacks)

He doesnt have the best Statistical year of a QB. He broke one record and that was touchdowns with almost a hundred more attempts than Manning had the year he broke it. When manning broke it he had the best QB rating which stills stands plus the touchdown record and when Marino Made the record he had the most yards also, which still stands. You're right. Peyton is a great quarterback but Brady is definetly better. He has 3 rings, was throwing to crap all last season and still almost one and he ALWAYS comes through in the clutch. Plus, the MVP he won was stupid because he didn't play well in the playoffs, terrible against the Cheifs, one good half against a tired Pats defense, and not much of a Superbowl. In our 1st Superbowl Brady actually deserved it.

Because the Pats could go undefeated for the first time in a 16 game NFL schedule and Brady will shatter Peyton's young touchdown pass record in the process. Brady has an accurate, solid throwing arm. Manning has way better on field vision. He's like a coach on the field. Brady's teams were better. Manning has had poor defenses for years. If Brady was at Indy and Manning at N.E, Manning would have at least 5 by now, I believe.

what you said about brady having a better team is incorrect because if you look at what peyton manning had on the offensive side of the ball you would see marvin harrison, reggie wayne, dallas clark, and edgerin james. Defensive wise the patriots did probably have the upperhand but if you gave brady those offensive weapons brady would have one every superbowl title from the 2001 till now.

How many times has the Colts' defense caused the Colts to lose in the playoffs under Peyton Manning? NONE. They only gave up more than 25 points in ONE Colts loss, and that was when Peyton and the offense got shut out anyway. This "Peyton had to deal with a lousy defense" myth needs to go away.

If I was going to pick a "most clutch" quarterback since Montana, I'd probably pick Aikman over Brady. Do you think Jim Plunkett was better than Peyton Manning also? Plunkett has the edge in Super Bowls (2 to 1) if you really think that's a good way to evaluate quarterbacks.
