  • sometimes when it sings it sounds a bit like preditor

  • lol cute and it sounds funny

  • is it a male or female canary?

  • @patriciaschannel it was sold to me as a female but as far as I know only males sing. So my best guess it that it's a male.

  • @Tolkiennerd few femal also can sing with short sound

  • hey guyz make sure to come and watch my video of my canary shaking my hand :D (trick )

  • Almost look like the YELLOW BIRD in ANGRY BIRDS. except with the ANGRY Face and the Head and Body..... =DD

  • hehe a birdy drill! ;D

  • i love canary sounds

  • It's so cute (:

  • @ahmed198999... Yes, my aunt used to raise them. The biggest tell-tale sign was the beak barely opening & the really nice rolling sound of their song.

  • Cool Name!

  • It's very sweet <3

  • norwich city till i die i love canaries

  • is glorfindel male or female?

  • I am playing Glorfindel to my Canary while she is recovering, she really loves your Glorfindel. Thought I would tell you :)

  • She is just so beautiful, congratulations on having such a lovely and healthy bird xoxo I can tell you look after her very well.

  • 'Glorfindel' ? How did you come up with a name like that?

  • It's the name of an elf from LOTR meaning something along the lines of Golden hair

  • Oh, ok that's cool, and very fitting.

  • @Tolkiennerd Do you let your bird out to fly or around its cage or that isn't a good idea?

  • @Mr291229 I don't let him fly out of his cage but he's in a very large flightcage now with my finches.

  • lovely!!

  • CooL!

  • nice an sweety ;**

  • nice clip, it just got our first bird to sing so we're happy!

  • my canary is so different from others its hand trained it sings then stopped but now it sings again whenever i call his or her name it flies over to u

  • i canary never sings :S :S what should i do ??

  • my canary used to sing non stop from morning till i switched off the light at night, beautiful, beautiful whistle, for 3yrs,and suddenly he stopped,he just sings occasionally now, does anyone know why that is?

  • Research lighting. Canaries are like poinsettias. Even a minute of light at the wrong time can throw them off. They must follow a winter and summer schedule. Light dictates their breeding, moulting, and singing. A canary can stay up to midnight with you, but he must remain covered in the morning, to simulate the correct hours of light. Listening to other birds can stimulate song, but the lights are the key. Interuptions in lighting are why many of them die young with no sign of disease.

  • how do u teach them to sing also how can u handtrain them ??

  • heeey

mine never sings too soo if someone answerd can u plz tell me

  • Hey,

just make it away from noises and leave nature doing its work :)

  • Female canaries don't really sing, so I think you have got a female one...

  • I don't know I forgot to ask when I bought him

  • Now this is what I call a Roller canary.Singing with beaks slightly closed and no high notes.

  • my canarys trying to compete with my speakers now^^

  • i had a canary called Goldfinger

  • yum
