@skidplate003 depends on which jeep you're referring to. our big white one running 40's is getting about 10 mpg but our orange one running 37's about 13 mpg. others with smaller tires are getting more.
Is that a stock driveshaft or a lightened thin wall or something. I've seen Coke cans with thicker walls than that driveshaft. Not exactly confidence inspiring
how much night wheeling did you guys do here? judging by the video it seems like u did a fair amount. how much more difficult was it at night that it would have been during the day? i've noticed that some places seem easier at night than others.
@tallzdatank we don't purposefully go out night wheeling but, there are a lot of times that you just can't help being out after dark. as far as gold bar rim or golden spike goes, it's harder as finding/staying on the trail is hard enough in the day time.
i wish i had enough money like you guys u have wranglers with 3 inch on these trails i have a 6inch all suspension on my 86 k3500 u guys should go biger u all clearly do have the money?
@tallzdatank ive owned that and a grand cherokee and never in the video i saw a place i couldent fit even if i couldent i could just go around i mean i love jeeps first car was a grand cherokee im just saying that got all this money and there on 3s go big or go home
@foolsonparade yeah, i hear what you're saying but, these are broken parts that are stacked up at the double whammy. minus the beer can, it's kinda like a shrine of sorts.
what program are you using to edit this videos your production quality is insane.. also great camara..! i wish there was a group like that where i live you seen you be a great group and very organized!
name a place at any time and ill be there, what yall do is my jeep, i own a 1994 wrangler with a 4 inch lift and 33 inch tires with rockstars on it, please let me tag along
everyone in this video was running cheap platnum burners from walmart. they're something like $14 a pair. i have 2 up front, 2 in the middle and 2 in the rear. they work great on the trail but, they do tend to burn out if they see too much water. fortuantely, they are cheap, easy to replace and can be found anywhere there is a walmart :)
Great videos! I just was out in Vegas last weekend .... and I feel like I missed out on the best part! Even ate lunch at the Silverton. Nice. Maybe someday I can join you guys...
just a thought, but when you guys are coming off of some steep sloping rocks.... shouldn't the jeeps be at a angle, rather than perpendicular to the base??
on these big drops, clearance isn't typically an issue. dropping at an angle puts you off camber and can leave you off balance. if you watch our "slide" video highlight, there is a silver 4-door in it that will show you what happens if you do drop down in a slight angle.
Nice photo of the rusty pile of busted U joints and driveshafts pieces on the Golden Spike Trail. That is cool, had to pause to get it. Way to go!!! Jeep itis a way of life!!!!!
what were the gauges for in the corner of trailbuds jeep? aftermarket tac? or something else, there were four if i recall
BullShark16 1 day ago
@BullShark16 i know that one is for engine temp and transmission temp but i don't recall what the other two are.

only if you want to roll your jeep.

@wayalife i meant slight angle, not horizontal... but i guess you have a point... i just thought it would provide more clearance??
