  • excellent, aussi bonne parodie que les "4 barbus" avaient faite dans les années 50 sous le titre de "La pince à linge"

  • glad now it's subbed so I can share with non-Japanese friends. I only wish someone can work on improving better, clearer picture.

  • ASAGOHAAANNNNNNN

  • bande d imbeciles heureux c est nul

  • @popobox quand on n'a pas le sens de l'humou!..........

dans les années 50 les "4 barbus" en avaient fait également une parodie que les mélomanes avaient aussi beaucoup appréciée! l'humour n'empêche pas la musique d'autant plus que c'est très bien chanté et cela prouve que Beethoven est dans la vie quotidienne de tous les continents

  • This needs to be done for the world to be seen.

Shows even a famous tune that will always be famous can be done in more than one way.

  • This is entertaining xD

  • simply epic!

  • @R4inbowninja I just saw this today in Japanese 131

  • I didn't the words for "gorgeous" in english and japanese sounded alike...

  • @Gnoxx That's because they _are_ saying gorgeous.

  • @Gnoxx it's derived from gorgeous in english. We pretty much use english words as they are or sometimes in wrong way :p but english words are everywhere everyday.

  • WTF boiled anchovies wow thats... wow

  • Nazis suck.Amazing!

  • so funny, and almost like the original in the way of the music, sort of

  • lmao! Thanks for this- so funny! ^_^

  • So this is where the inspiration for that Vocaloid KAITO song came from. Even though I like KAITO's musical squeaks in his version, I love this version more. I wish my breakfast would be this funny (or melodramatic. Take your pick.)!

  • O o {w t f . . .]

  • hahahahaha. I friggin love that!!!

  • wtf?

  • Bit unrelated to the video, but it seems the Japaneese have far healthier breakfasts than Westerners.

  • "More healthful"

    Food cannot do chin-ups

    Heathful means wholesesome

Healthy means "exhibiting a state of well being" and requires that the item described be a living being or living plant

Awful grammar and misuse is taking over the world

See what happens when you stray from musica comment The grammar school word police swoop in

    Tom Loughlin Jr, Utica NY

    (see,I sign my work !)

  • Goodness, what sort of mini-Stalin are you, Mr. Loughlin?

First, I must state that I am an Irishman, and although I am aware of the existance of the word "Healthful", I don't believe I have ever used it, in conversation or prose.

Second, I don't believe I've ever come across it here, except in speaches by politicians and other such odious farts. Not that I'm accusing you of anything like that, at least, as long as you're not a politician.

Running out of space, just a minute...

  • And third, I recognise that there is some difference between "British" and "American" grammer and that a New Yorker like yourself might actually say "More healthfull" (one 'L' or two?) in that context. It's just that I never would.

Fourth, I apologise for any bad spelling in my comments, as, say what you will about my grammer, my spelling often leaves something to be desired.

    Liam Gormley, Dundalk, Co. Louth.

  • I am a former politician

I found myself losing my soul in large increments, and quit before I could injure anyone by being elected

A cheerful Tom Loughlin Jr (of the County Clare Louglins a few generations back (3)

  • Right you are. As a proofreader of 25 years, I can say that the proscription against "healthy" meaning wholesome is completely arbitrary. Mr. Loughlin (telsport) is stuck in grammar school. I suggest he get out of his comfort zone and look up something called "descriptive grammar" so that he can actually understand the proper use of the English language. "Healthful breakfasts." Oh sure, every educated person says that. Dork.

  • Excellent, More More

  • funny even before I saw subtitles

  • This is AMAZING!!!

  • A vocal group in Japan took Beethovens 5th symphony and made a vocal interpretation. But instead of just singing the music, they added a little parody. A family starts discussing what theyre going to eat for breakfast (asagohan). .

  • They discuss many options ("maze gohan" is mixed rice "shiro gohan" is white rice), and everytime they are about to reach an agreement, some other idea sparks that makes them start discussing it again. In the end, they discussed for so long that the breakfast time is over, and it is time to prepare lunch

  • spectacular! probably the choral 5th symphony i have ever heard.

  • Outstanding!

  • Awesome !

  • plain rice!!!

  • disturbing LOL

  • This is easily the best performance of Beethoven 5 I've heard in decades!

  • I agree, surprisingly, they sound more in tune and together than most orchestras......

  • @ppgppgppgppg although I hate to admit it (Being that I am a string player) - they were in tune to each other without a doubt. Most orchestras are in tune, but not completely to everyone around them.

  • lol sugokatta!

  • hahahaha...this is so funny.

it's great coz they turn out to be a good choir and yet they are also very funny. a unique combination. LOL

  • i laughed until my dog barked at me xD

  • This is seriously amazing! *_*

  • Amazing Stuff!!!!

  • excellente!

  • This is hysterical- yet beautifully sung. Like, really. it's sung so well for something.. not serious at all XD

  • Very good!!!!

  • This was both very entertaining and it made the Japanese language pretty addictive (instead of ... well, just confusing). Very well done, lol.

  • my favorite part is that the Japanese word for "gorgeous" is, apparently, "gorgeous."

  • Japanese use many Anglicisms for convenience - and some words from other languages too - like German word "Arbeit" for work.

  • yeah i noticed that too... really funny!

  • Holy crap that was the funniest thing I've seen in a loooong time! Gave me a good laugh, that's for sure....awesome!! : )

  • I wish I hadn't read the Eng. subtitles. I was so romanticized by the Japanese I thought it had a little more depth. What does the word 'parody" mean? Duh...

  • it means sattire--or in this case, making fun of beethoven's symphony no. 5.

even without the subs, you probably should have figured out it was a bit funny and overexaggerated...yeah.

  • A parody is, more specifically, a work of satire that imitates an already existing work (in this case, Beethoven's 5th) or the style of a preexisting author, artist, or performer. The kinds of skits (imitating a TV show or a movie) that they do on SNL or MadTV are all parodies, for example. If someone performs a funny impression of, say, Prince doing one of his songs, this would also be a "parody."

  • That was amazing!

  • That's....great!

  • I love how they introduce the rice with mushroom in the development of the piece

  • jealous?
