  • 13 is ok

  • it didn't run a 13. The black car ran the 13. The fiero ran a high 14.

  • that thing hauls for just a 305.

  • it had one but it lost a rod bearing when the new thermostat went.

  • Why put a chevy V8 in? It would be a hell of a lot more fast if you bolted in a 4.6 caddy or a 4.9.

Don't tell me your one of those Chevy-Harley Davidson dudes.

  • well chevy motors are easy to come by as are performance parts, it's not even about going with a name tag really... because they arn't really chevy motors but rather GM motors.

  • Same bolt pattern as the stock V6 and L4 (Chevy). Caddy is a lot more work and the computer is way less hack-able and there are like NO performance parts for the 4.9 and the northstar parts are very expensive in relation to the SBC. Plus kits exist to put the SBC in including special clutches, none exist for the Caddy. Some still go that route though, I am a Cad fan myself.

  • did you use a kit? how much did it cost? please let me know, my brother's trying to do this to a stickshift fiero himself. muchas gracias!

  • he ran 14, the rx-7 FC with a BUILT 350 ran the 13 and the fiero only has a 83 camaro stock 305 CFI with 2.84 first gear

  • Thanks for posting the vids, win lose or draw! I have a V8 Fiero thats set up very similar to yours. Haven't had the chance to do much with it.
