It may have already been said but this song, from the album The Prayer Cycle, is a choral/orchestral album by American film and television composer Jonathan Elias. This particular song is actually a group effort called "Hope" with Alanis Morissette, Devin Provenzano, and The American Boychoir. The intro part was done by a young boy in the choir...he could have been no older than 14 or 15 as the school serves 4-8 grade. I heard he was 11...no confirmation on that. Its beautiful tho!

She is actually not in this song. The soprano is a boy named Devin Provenzano. Alanis is featured in much of this album and sings in a typcial sound for her. Her range is quite good and she sings in up to 4 different languages throughout the album.
