I visited Bamburgh Castle with my family in Dec. We traveled from St. Petersburg Florida (my wife's British, we were visiting her family) and upon arriving, we were greeted by the kind fella in the video and he told us of the various hauntings that have occurred. Unfortunately, I didn't see or feel anything. I was alone and even attempted numerous times to provoke the "spirits" to appear or move an object, and nothing happened. I was pissed! Anyway, we had a great time and I loved the castle!
They should start a new Most Haunted and call it "Most Haunted Skeptics" and all the people that "talk shite" in their comments and say it's ALL fake will be the guests in each episode. And they get to do solo vigils in the reportedly most haunted rooms for at least 20 minutes. That would last for another 10 years I think. I'd love to see that:) Especially when they get terrified. Oh how delighted I would be, hehe!
am off to watch part two hopefully they have some emf detectors and digital cameras and some digital recorders and maybe one infared camera seeings how they wanna catch something so they say lmaoooo just doent seem very professional to me like they just making a token effort to look legit and credible to those who dont have any real knowledge of ghost hunting and demonlogy oh well got some good info about the site which is cool

I've been there about 8 times! Its such a beautiful, old castle with stunning views. I don't really believe in ghosts but I've had an experience there.
The castle is haunted. Just because you live near it doesn't mean you know everything about it. I've had a scary experience there. I was in the hallway where that staircase is, and in the doorway ahead I saw a pink swish going past. I went into the room where the pink thing went in and there was no one there. The Castle has an atmosphere!
You know, I just don't believe all the talk that this show is faked.What would it do to their tourism revenue if it got out that their owners/employees came on a show and lied about paranormal experiences and allowed the most haunted to fake a show there? No one would visit. Of course people who beleive everything would bring in money, but I just don't believe ALL these people are lying about everything. Derek was probably a fake-I always thought so, but I just don't believe it all can be.
Yes, exactly, I would find it very difficult to believe that everything is set up. The show doesn't make up that these places are haunted either. There have been real accounts and so I'm sure whatever is in there, being provoked, would spark results similar to what they get (which aren't always even that exciting.) If there is something anyway. The Derek thing, I'm not sure he's completely fake, though he did fake for the sake of the show. *shrugs*

One of my favourite castles to visit, I love living not too far from it. I always pop into Bamburgh every so often, it's such a beautiful place.

This show was actually filmed back in 2006, apparently we get them past seasons in the U.S. Except for the Live shows, I guess.
