@WarrenArtStudios infact i do, i did some research and it turns out that noble six's spartan tag is b312 added up to make six but infact his tag is a reference to the number 7: 3x2+1=7. so he can be classed as noble 7 and noble 6 since the original noble 6 died b312 was transferred to noble team (for being a hyper lethal spartan) replacing 6 but what i believe is that he was called "7" when he was in the Sabre Program, but he got a very good reputation for being a lone wolf assassin.

Just imagine how epic it would have been if they had rendered the whole opening cutscene from Halo CE. Seeing the Autumn burst out of a slipspace portal was such an OMFG moment it was a bit of a letdown to see it just disappear into the distance like that.

If you want to see master chief in the game what you need to do is... beat game on legendary with just pistol, just kidding, do the mission The Pillar of Autumn and at the end when you fire the MAC cannon into the giant ship you will go into cutscene. When you are in the part where you see a pelican landing and marines running hold RIGHT on the RIGHT stick. And you will see your camera look to the right and OMFG!!! ITS CHIEF!!!!!!!!!

Opinion: Best ending for halo ever, made me cry and envy. So yea I am that big of a halo fan.

Fact: Since 343 Ind. is taking over halo is going to suck, just like halo wars. I will be surprised if they even continue the fight via halo 3 ---> Halo Four (or as i see the next title Halo Forerunner).

Confusion: After beating lonewolf, you see your mask cracked on a scolded wasteland that seems like its glassed. But then its your mask but in a nice beautiful area with a ship in the background. Wtf?

No, Cortana actually chose Master Chief before the Pillar of Autumn returned to Reach. The Cortana that Noble 6 was transporting was only a subroutine of Cortana, basically a partial clone made to do one function while the real Cortana did other things. That subroutine only chose 6 to transport her.
