it didn't get taken off because there was anything bad in the video it was because of the Sum 41 -hell song. He doesn't own it so someone  that does made a claim to get youtube to take it off

whoa i didn't know this happened, you know all you have to do is rerender the same AMV in a different format and you can upload it again, just when you do upload it, do add any tags on it, like : the song name or anything, that should keep it save from getting removed

ya sorry, i meant don't add tags, they can track you by the tags you add on,So you could just add tags like Avatar and anime, also you could change the category its in, instead or art & animation, education. And if possible you should change the name of the video too, all that helps

hey dont worry about it huge fan of your amvs btw...Youtube is sadly owned by google and has been for a while now. I love the search but hate them moderating youtube since it has no ads on the vids playing page so technically this does not violate the creative rights act. leave it to a few idiots who do not know the laws of creative rights to ban accounts and remove videos because they dont understand the laws we have as artists.

If it got removed for Audio content, you shouldn't have disputed the claim unless some research was involved. That happened to me. The party that claimed actually did not own the audio i was using (I had to look it up) and the claim was disputed. If you get removed because of the Video content then yes, there is nothing you can do. Honestly, just suck it up. I have been suspended 3 times. Plus, that video wasn't that amazing compared to what you are doing now.

OMG I hate that. I've been suspended (my account name right now came out of my anger at youtube...). Also, youtube recently rejected videos that I added 3+ months ago!! They were both Blue October songs. It gave me the audio options, too, but the choices aren't so great =.= and I haven't gotten around to finding a decent song to fill in the spots. The problem with it is that usually good movie makers make their videos to the specific song, so to change the song would almost be to ruin it.

HONESTLY, what we do does not go against the rules, nor it is it illegal. If we edit the content, to make it better, and adding our OWN effects, then its ours. I dont get how were being illegal.

To be honest I am not very surprised they go after one AMV maker at a time that's what happened to me they start by taking some of your vids off and after about 3 or 4 they delete your account so if I were you I would tell everyone to sub to ur other account cause more stuff could get deleted!

I think the companys need to stop attacking AMV makers, there are a ton of CD's I would of never bought If i hadn't heard them in an AMV first, instead they should tap the market and offer prizes for the best movie made to their song/anime.
