  • It's a Elnino year for us this time around so I'm praying we won't be seeing what we did last December 2008. My palm trees will be much happier not weighed down with all of that wet heavy snow.

  • Palm trees and snow don't mix.

  • Ha ha, it often snows on the palms here. The palms we grow are native to the mountains of China where they are covered with snow for a good part of the winter. Did you know there are species of palms that grow on cold NE facing slopes of the Himalayas at 8,200' ft? These palms will not grow in the tropics.
