  • And a Mormon's bull shit dectector does not go up?

  • @endofus

I bet you mom is proud of you... all condescending and filled with hate and all...

  • @Sk8er408

I know you're mom is proud, all the bold face lies to defend cult leaders.

  • @endofus

    Name one...

  • @Sk8er408

you said Joseph Smith did not teach the Hill Cummorah was in New York

that is a bold face lie.

  • @endofus

He did not teach that the one in the BoM was in NY... that is your assumption... you seem to assume alot while your grandma is at work and leaves you home alone to play on her computer in the basement.

  • @Sk8er408

Joseph Smith said the Hill Commorah was in New York, this is still the official LDS position

you're a pathetic liar just like you're brother satan.

  • @endofus

Yes... where the plates were buried. it's pathetic of you to claim that this automatically means that the hill where the battle was fought is the same.

Of cause you can not prove it... all you can do is assume.

  • @Sk8er408

my assumption, bahaha, That the location of Hill Cumorah events was in New York has been affirmed by people like Joseph Smith, Orson Pratt, Marion G. Romney, Anthony Ivins, B.H. Roberts, James Talmage, Joseph Fielding Smith, George Reynolds, and Bruce McConkie. It is also affirmed in a current CES institute manual[2], and was as recently as 1990 affirmed in a letter from Secretary to the First Presidency[3].

  • @endofus

Yes... talking about where the plates were buried...

  • I guess you don't believe an ass can talk either...

  • @CounterCultureLives If you don't mind I think I will repeat this little joke of yours. It's really good. By the way have you ever read "Covering Up The Black Hole In The Book of Mormon"? It shows you very clearly what is missing in the B.O.M. and what should have been there if it was real history.

  • @bossendenwoodconvict Go for it, Bossendenwoodconvict!! While you're at it, don't miss these important websites as well!!

No, I haven't read the book you mentioned, but after reading "The Maxwell Institute's review, I think I'm going to try to find a copy of it. Thanks for the heads up!!

  • Lovely criticism from people who know everything and nothing, who believe only what smacks them in the face. As Dyer said it's, believing is seeing, not, seeing is believing. The humble bumble bee is not supposed to be able to fly, so science says, but it does anyway, inspite of science and unreasoning reason.

  • @A2ZAynot Mormonism trains people 2 believe the utterly absurd. Joseph Smith on page 41 of the Pearl of Great Price, turned the Egyptian godesses Isis & Maat into men figures 2 & 4, & the pagan Egyptian god Osiris figure 1 into Abraham. The Egyptians were pagans, they certainly did not write anything that would have ever even resembled scripture from the God of the Bible. Hitler said if U tell a lie long enough loud enough & often enough the people will believe it. (Mormon testimony)

  • Trying to pin this story on God is about as stupid as humans can get!!

  • 1.water would rise in the moonpool only equal to the lost volume of material lost down the moonpool which would have been very tiny.

    2. 1 mph is brisk for an ocean current thanks to fierce winds and waves.

    3. Lookup "melipona" for info on American stingless honeybees.

4 barges were roped together so aminals could be kept in certain ones and people in others.

  • 1 mph is extremely slow. a slow walk is 3 mph or more. The BOM certainly does not hint of the barges being roped together. The bees just mostly made a good joke anyway, there are far more bees that do sting than that don't, if there are some that don't, but the better argument here would be the possibility that they may not have taken them on the barges anyway. Which they didn't, because there were no Jaredites to even build these barges anyway.

  • Test

  • 1. The barges had a hole in the top and bottom. If you stop the top and unstop the bottom water does not rush in and you make a "moon pool" which was likely used as a potty.

    2. Ocean currents are not even close to 10 mph. 1 mph would be considered swift.

    3. Pre-Columbian species of Honey bee are stingerless. The stinging variety were brought recently from Europe and Africa.

  • 1. in that case nothing could go out, without something else coming in, if it worked at all.

    2. To read the BOM, no person, would think from the words used, that these barges were going slowly at all, so was your "god" lying? Ether 6:8 "...they were driven forth before the wind." doesn't sound slow at all to me.

    3. I'd have to see some hard evidence to believe that, even if true though, the whole story is ridiculous. The Book of Mormon is fictional and Satanically inspired.

  • The guy who came up with this goofy story

was tight like unto a dish. Or tight like

    unto a falling down drunk.

  • NAMBLA (Nonsensible Apologists for Mormonism Bereft of Logic or Acumen) can answer this silly claim. No one knows God's will and perhaps the long journey (82,560 miles) was his intent to test the Jaredites by gradually killing off the unfaithful ones so that only the faithful Jaredites would reach the promised land. They could have hunted whales along the way too... The Brother of Jared could have been related to Ahab...
