No one can seem to tell me why millions upon millions of people dying everyday is justified by God. What plan does God have for African AIDS victimsm, victims of the Haiti earthquake and so on. God is a truly horrible and disgusting being if he can stop this but refuses to.

@stu2025 Ya know, christians did do a lot of weird stuff back then. But once jesus came, it changed everything! All of a sudden, it was love, not hate. Save, not kill. New Testament is far different from old. And people have done some stupid things in christs name, but that doesnt mean thats what he wants.

@WhipTamer Well I'm not gonna go into the horrific violent and oppressive nature of the Old Testament. Nobody can deny it is a violent piece of literature that implores man to be hateful towards one another. Yet the same is true in the New Testament, albeit not to such an extent. I refer you to Revelation 2:22-23. The line "I will strike her children dead" sounds like God is quite the hateful character, if indeed he exists.

God speaks about the falling and the misleading. so if you read from verses 18-29 you will understand why God says that. Please don't pick one verse and get tangled with the verse. We have to read the contents before we come to a conclusion. Same way you will want to understand a text from your school books

What don't you believe? The Bible says that He is love, and indefinitely loves you. The Law was the Old Testament way of doing things, and the Israelis did not always obey the Law. Jesus fulfilled the Law in His Atoning death so you and I could be free; he advocates self-defense, but not rampant, unjust violence.

actually, improvmastah, no where in the Bible does it say that we are equal with God. Adam and Eve weren't created to be equal either. Humans were created to worship the Lord. Why do you think they call him Lord, the Alpha and the Omega, Saviour, Rock of Salvation, King of Kings....I could go on and on. Kings are not equal to peasants or nobles are they?

It does not seem like he is such a big deal. Chris Tomlin wrote this song and the same day he played it at a huge conference. He was not alone in writing this song because Louie Gigalo added some words to it. Even though he may not be the best singer he is still in the top five when it comes to song writing.

The musicians who come up with stories and write about real experiences are much better, People need to expan wat they write abot and not fall under a label for music, if he ants to writ a song about God thats fine, but every song, thats a little too much A little variety never hurt anyone.

@improvmastah I don't believe that Christian music is based on religion in my opinion and yes you do have different music from many different churches (I wont say religions) but I have to say that when God took me from hollowering and people falling out to where I am now the worship music that I hear and sing teaches me that I am free because of who Jesus is. So just pray before you listen and ask God and the Holy Spirit to help you hear and feel what HE wants you to feel and hear. God Bless.

Yes, believing in God is important. But God has a personality, a history with the human race, and His name is IAUE. Do you believe in IAUE? For to believe in God but not IAUE, is to believe I am indeed typing to you as a human being, but you reject any true information about me.
And nobody is better than you because they believe the truth about God. They don't deserve salvation - neither do I, neither do you. :)

What I meant, is catholic school seems to generate an unusually large amount of atheists who hate the very idea of God, or just non-christians who also, likewise, hate the idea of God. It is because they themselves are not sound - in the holy bread of the gospel, they stir in poison. Then again, that is not known for sure. I think it is. But you have Yahuwah, Yahu, Yahuweh, Yahweh, Yah, and now this utterly unlikely Ahayah stuff. Personally I think if it was as important as all the people who talk about it make it out to be, God would have made it very easy, and very clear, what His name was, and rather than doing that God has let it vanish through the pages of history so.
