This reminds me a lot of when I lived at home with my parents and I kept getting myself into trouble and I couldn't even really understand why I was making those decisions.

I remember begging myself to just listen, to just do what I was supposed to do and quit making life harder for myself.

this is incredible and truly brings out an emotion in me that I thought I had long forgotten.
