My grandpa was in the 743rd tank battalion. He was a Tech Sgt Mechanic and drove a half track. his name was Ardie "Red" Williamson. This is an awesome video . thank you for posting.
I don't understand why there are still holocaust deniers out there. Sure you can say that photos have been fabricated. But even if you don't want to believe the many holocaust survivors out there, there are still their liberators who have survived. Why would so many people lie about liberating the Jews? The existance of the soldiers who saved the Jews completely debunks any Holocaust denier's argument.
Wow, this was truly an incredible video. Thank you so much for posting it, and thank you to all the survivors and liberators for telling your stories so bravely, that inspires me to continue with my work for Darfur, fighting the modern genocides. I am 15, and it is in the name of people like you that I plan to carry the message of love, hope and equality into the generation that you won't be around to personally share your stories with.
Those misguided souls who do not believe that the United States of America has been (and still is) a force of good in the world should watch this moving clip.
I met them today actually! They came back to our school! AWESOME!
