Why was Oklahoma even in this game? OU lost to K-State in the Big 12 Title Game and still played for a National Championship. In addition, Jason White was one of the biggest Heisman-busts in college football history.
the fact that they had an undefeated regular season. USC didnt. OU had more wins than USC simple math. If SC wanted in this game they needed to run the table or have a tougher schedule.
OU didn't even win their own conference. Wow! I believe there was another Big 12 team that created a similar mess back in 2001. Oh yeah, Nebraska. There's another Big 12 team that didn't win their conference but played for a national championship against Miami.
And now this year we had OU and UF playing against each other, when it probably should have been Texas, not OU.
The Big 12 has done more to screw-up the BCS system than any other conference.
