  • lol

  • is ur rc waterproof is so can u tell me how to water proof it because i really want to waterproof my rc

  • there not susposed 2 get wet

  • where can i buy one of these at miami plzz reply

  • My friends T-maxx landed in a lake, we took off the glow plug, sprayed some max film inside the engine and car and turned the engine with the ez wand upside down, then put some more max film all over the truck, glow plug back on and it ran like a champ right up, still runs a year after. Traxxas makes very reliable shit.

  • thats an emaxx

  • @boringbmx17 thanks for proving my point also cuz i know that is def. electric

  • what all did you water proof?

  • nice

  • its an e maxx cuz there is no exhaust or any smoke if there was an exhaust on that side so FAKE

  • plasti-dipped and the ballooned.? never heard of read of this?

  • oh no

  • gay, it has no sound cuz it is an e-maxx. any nitro would cut out, because t water would get into the air filter. jackass. haha, caught u, u fakers

  • @jedd122

it has no sound (at all in the vid lol) because its from a digital cameras vid function.

it is a t maxx 2.5 nitro truck. my emaxx would not see water as i dont want to ruin the electrics.

water would need to be alot deeper to get through a 2 stage foam filter enough to do engine damage

  • @shortboyterry

Actuallly bro i ran min t-maxx though a way smalller puddle today with a 2 stage filter on it, the big one, and got it wet and like 2 mins later it sucked the water though both stages and made the engine stal from the water.

  • @shortboyterry its an e-maxx there isnt any smoke

  • @traxxasrcfun thank you too for proving my fucking point, that its definetly electric

  • @shortboyterry hey fuckhead, emaxx brushless is waterproof. jjust like the e-revo vxl. you guys are so fuckin retarded. that might have been a nitro but i guarantee there was problems with it when he was done.

  • @shortboyterry e-maxx is waterproof and tmaxx is not

  • @jedd122 You are a fuckin stupid. Cant you see the cooling head? Definatly a nitro, along with the steam. You are a duchebag, face it .

  • @jedd122 Sigh...ignorant. u obviously don't know much. my T-maxx has seen a lot of water and the motor is still healthy as can be, it all about the maintenance.

  • @jedd122 there is such a thing called "Foam Filter Treatment" and it resists water, dirt, sand, dust, etc..

  • @jedd122 You are such a fucktard.

  • @jedd122 not bad man!

  • @jedd122 not just the airfilter the motor head and into the piston. That would ruin your motor if your not safe

  • I want to change my RX SX from standard to water-proof and do the same :P I just wander, why wouldn't Traxxas install water-proof receiver and servos on all of their trucks?

  • Is not for sale on ebay lol i still have this in my shed with all my other r/c and its not rusty or broken either

  • be careful. did same with mine and sucked in water through air filter and rusted the engine solid in 4 days

  • still running fine people ;)

  • i agreee.... he'll have prblms

  • yea fine until you suck water in to the air intake................lol i think i am going to put a os .18 in myne when it wheres out

  • what happens if the engine or electronics get wet ahha

  • did you take this in dymchurch

  • yes lol how did you notice that

  • well iv bee going there about 4years camping there

  • really yall i have an OLD .15 t-maxx and im running an O.S. .18 with a tuned pipe it beats the living crap out of my friends well tuned 3.3 the old truck is so much better than the new onces once you beaf up the drive traain with 3.3 shafts I have never striped anything in my tranny or a spur gear just slowwlt wore a few spur gears out!

  • You can seal your servos & balloon your receiver. and it will be just fine. but the water make your motor run way to cool, and kills the life of it. But screw it. go have fun. that's what there for.

  • ha i have the same one its still a beast

  • Dip your servos in Plasti Dip, and make a snorkle (idk how to spell that lol) for your air filter and you should do fine in light water, snow, mud, and rain! But try not to drive in water above the chassi. Doing what this guy did in the video is tempting and fun! But atleast prep your Rc 1st :P

  • nice way to fuck up your r/c.

    good job.

  • hey guys i wanna get a nitro traxxas truck but theres no waterproof ones. if i get one like this and put waterproof servos on it, will it be able to go through water?

  • electric.

  • I don't think there are waterproof servos. you can always use silicone. If you find some waterproof servos please tell me the site if you don't mind.

  • you can get water proof traxxas servos from your local hobby shop our goolge them the are blue

  • just go to the hobby store and ask for the blue traxxas servos, they're waterproof

  • ik u commented a long time ago but traxxas makes some water proofs and hell now everyone is starting to ahha....or like the guy said above dip em in plasti dip

  • @FATBOY1715 dude they have made waterproof servos for years homie me and a friend of mine used to go racing and he races for team losi, well hes had traxxas waterproof servos in his personal trucks forever

  • @deagle517 not quite if you get an ez start model you will have to waterproof the onboard starter motor, and if you get a model with reverse its box has to be waterproof,id also invest in an extra set of bearings, also if you have the pull start model it wont be good to get water in the hole where the pullstart handle goes because if the coil spring gets rusty it wont work right.i think ive covered the basics,id say this type of hobby does not work with mud thats why i own a fourwheeler

  • dude you just fucked up your entire car good job. if your going to do that get your car water proofed or go get the e-revo.

  • dude dont to that when y did that by mistake my piston exploded because of fast colling an the meatl broke

  • those RC are like real cars!! haha

  • you just screwed up your engine and servos right there. good job wasting 450 bucks. you'll sure regret it.

  • Good way to fuck up ur electronics hence the reason why they created E-Revos

  • thats not a good ida dude

  • that car will be SSSSOOOOO RUSTY

  • That's cool, but not as cool as one of those little gas powered tanks that floats on top of the water an can shoot bb pellets!

  • guhhhhhhhhh-whaaaaaaattttttt?

  • no sound ruins the whole vid.

  • Why not just get a rc boat ?

  • how does that not ruin your t-maxx???

  • he probable water proofed it.

  • streets in our area were twice as deep as that today. ruined my shoes walking throught it

  • reminds me one time my tmaxx's throttle stuck open and it went about 50 right into a lake it went on top of the water for like 20 feet then sunk. i was so freakin bummed

  • go faster ride on top of water

  • free car wash,LOL

  • Get one of the new E-Maxx's, they're waterproof!

  • nitro ftw.

  • I like nitro more too, but for the wet stuff I hear the new E-Maxx is built for it.

  • yeh. if your into that stuff, lol... electric just don't get the job done.

  • lol no way not electric...i just got an old revo 2.5 and i am going to drive it until i feel like blowin it or save the 150 for the 3.3......lol i have the on with the 30 shorter then the new revo with the 3.3....man does it fly though.....

  • I had the old 2.5 and got a 3.3, I think its better to just get a new one, the new engine can over power the tranny if you're not carful, I stripped 2 spur gears just casually driving it around, lol after jumping it off a huge jump.

  • I have a Revo (2.5R), but I upgraded it to an O.S 1.8 engine. It rips! It would have flown over that water! Did u hear about the new E-Revo? I think that Jato and the Nitro 4-tech, are well done cars too.

  • Yeah your damn right about 3.3 overpowering! Ive gone through 5 spur gears, and new insides for my tranny (three time) in just a half gallon of nitro which really sucks!

  • you hate your electronics dont you

  • now your trying to make it into a boat huh..

  • that'll destroy the engine, and isnt that for sell on ebay?

  • yeh i think ive seen that on ebay i was gona bid he can get fucked now i aint bidding lol if it is the one on ebay luks like it tho

  • @rcfreak363 yeah i think i seen it on ebay also :*O lol

  • @rcfreak363 YEAH I seen it on ebay also :O lol

  • i would never do that

  • id just waterproof the servos for just a bit of protection agasint a lil bit of water. but its not 100% sure that'll be completly safe.

  • I bought a old T-maxx a few years back, and I got one of those 4 cycle engines, had to modify alot...but it fit.

Added a stack exaust, snorkle style intake, water-roofed everything and added a Metal Tub around the engine so no water would get to/on it...

I could go in water up the the body, it was Great!

Sold it on Ebay 7 months later....I feel so stupid...

  • you should

  • this is probaly one of the worst things you can do. besides causing harm to your electronics, you risk cracking the block or cooling head with the sudden splash of cold water on hot engine.

  • how exactly do you put the servos in balloons?

  • Ah i saw this on the traxxas forums!

    Good.

  • if u go at it in ludicrous speed will it hyrdoplane, cause it works with four wheelers

  • cool! is this likly to damage mine?

  • if u havent done any waterproofin then most likely yes. just put all ur servos in balloons as well as batterys and receiver and ur away
