well steam is pretty bad when it comes to support: i agree on that (it took them 5 months to recover my hijacked account when i presented cd keys, etc.) as far as i've seen, steam is just distrustful with the community: what they want is proof your innocent: after all there are a lot of liars out there whom say they don't use hacks ... however, i'm not agreeing with steam's methods: banning without listening to the person before condemning them :\

Actually @4:32 thread was answered and the kick/ban user admin tool he used was VAC bannable.

@ichr123 MW2 Server Admin tool is not bannable by VAC. Idiot.

It doesn't affect the .DLLs, or the .EXEs, and it doens't interact with the game files in any way. It's an internet-side tool that only disconnects other IP address from your own, therefore kicking them.

This is not bannable by VAC as it simply cannot detect it.

Hey, I love this video cause this happened to me too. I just wish that Valve would at least treat their customers with a little bit of respect, instead of holding to the mantra that VAC is never wrong, anyone banned by VAC is definitely a cheater, and they are not required to provide any proof or evidence of cheating whatsoever, because VAC is never wrong. It's such bullshit. I never cheated. I just want to play the game I paid $60 for.

Just been hit by a VAC ban too! I have been playing COD online since COD 2 and never even thought of cheating in that time (6 years). I have not downloaded any cheats purposefully, so can only assume that either a) VAC have mistaken a benign programme on my PC for some sort of hack software or b) my PC was infected with a trojan. And if there is a hack - I've never seen it work in-game - and so I'm at a loss as to what it is - how it got there - and what I can do to get rid of it.

Excellent that people are highlighting the problem. Valve currently has some issues and they need to fix them. Banning so many legitimate customers is wrong. The Moderators on the Steam forums are the worst I have ever seen. Banning people for asking for help and accusing them of cheating.
