I like both of their singings, 李淑勤 is pretty and sentimental...very lovable & sweet…

the classic verses is very poetic and romantic, the words had depth, I feel bad about the younger generation that cannot appreciate those classic words, and that such beautiful "culture" will be lost in our future generations

@tsmock88 It was a 2008 concert. It is already lost by mainland China. The mainland Chinese youths only know ' pinyin chinese' and simplified ' white words'. Very, very sad. Thousands of years of cultural treasures go down the drain.

@normanspecial I think you are a bit harsh on 尹光. He should be judged by his singing ability instead of his stage attire which probably was the designer's idea anyway. Also, perception is different among people. I personally do not find it feminine, just a little bit dorky :)

One reason why I love Cantonese operas so much now, is my appreciation of their BEAUTIFUL poetic classic Chinese verses, of which the new generation of main land Chinese would never be able to enjoy due to their education mainly in simplified Chinese & usage of 'white words 白字', neglecting our thousands of years of literature treasure.

Wang Kwong is very impressive and very much into the performance of the character. Imagine after looking for your true love for 14 years, you are not even allowed to speak from your heart because of respect to her being a nun. The words, in the classic Shakespearean Chinese, is so poetic that it is rare to find.
