Haha did someone really say "Marijuana and alcohol". Layne was a complete junkie and was clearly tweaked the fuck out on a stimulant. I know he preferred crack, but he also was open to anything, and considering the fact that crack only lasts a few minutes, my bet is he indulged in methamphetamine, probably smoked rather than injected.

I love this song; I listen to it at least 36 times a day. Yet, this is my least favorite version for my ears; as it's done in "double time". However, I love watching Layne in concert, as well as the rest of AiC, in this video, regardless of how phucked up Layne is.... God, but I miss Layne Staley...!

Most people simply pass out from it, but i would descibe it as drinking a bottle of whiskey then sittin in a hot bath, thats what it feels like on the body. This song and a Little Bitter should have been on Dirt. Those songs fit that sound very well. The songs are very dark in mood too. Dirt portrayed a very dark mood as well. Fucking best AIC album ever. The lines in the song "What you hear is not alive today." Very haunting lyrics.

You shouldn't have gotten 6 thumbs down. It's true that Layne did crack along with heroin. He also did cocaine, oxycodiene or codone, whatever, and smoked weed, along with drinking. He was fucked up. But still, probably the best quality singer of all time. He said in his last interview, "My liver isn't functioning anymore. I know I'm near death. I did crack and heroin for years. I never wanted to end my life this way."
