  • Omg you really dont know about martial arts..When you want to play tournament hapkido .. it is actually a kind of taekwondo..Because master of hapkido once said that. to do hapkido you have to take black belt in taekwondo first..so dont fucking speak about hapkido cause you dont even know the half of the hapkido martial art...!

  • I do taekwondo for years. I have to agreed with some comments. What the hell are they doing with their hands??? Real taekwondo of hapkido is a very good martial art. But you have to protect your face and your body. And in taekwondo we learn also to use fist. That kind of fight is a joke. If he has protected his nose...

  • hapkido in full contact looks a bit like sanda

never heard about such tournaments in europe...

  • some people who write stupid comments about any tournament and hapkido is just ignorant..he is sitting on the sofa with laptop and thinks it is better than have any tournamnet experince..go and train! it is much advantageous than jerk in an internet and criticise everything..this guys do something and you are dreaming.

  • vcanthey use hands to block kick??? which blocks??

  • If you actually do hapkido...you'd know this is DEFINITELY not it... :/

  • well , the hapkido tournament and the taekwondoo's are the same except for the sweeps tecniques . The real hapkido can't be use in the tounaments beacuse the move and tecniques learn in this art are to lethal to practice as a sport. But still , i like more this fight cause u can grab ur oponent and do sweep move

  • i study hap ki do,and this is nothing like it,neither of these guys would have lasted in a ring with me,hands by your sides r not a good idea,i do not know if it would have made a difference about the broken nose but he would stand a better chance of blocking the kick, this is not only embarassing to both, but to hapkido and martial art world, but it does look like a bad rep of TKD

  • Dude what a shitty fight..

  • I really like the kicks, but i don't like how yall keep your hands down.

  • you see i take hapkido and thats an inbarressment ...thats there teachers fault he dosent make them keep there hands up my teacher taught me and my brothers that when you put your hands down you get hit in the face and if we forgot to keep them up we had to do pushups

  • the only reason i watched this cause scorpion fromn mortal kombat has this type of fighting so i want to learn this

  • what an ass, use constraint at tourneys.. i hope your teammate got revenge..

  • ah mano isso é taekondo e nem teve projeção

  • dude almost the same shit happenes to me in hapkido , that was awful

  • i don't like how they always shy away from the contact.and the way they neevr keep their hands up.what rank are they?

  • their not meant to always put their hands up, they only play defensive not offensive

  • its hapkido not tae kwon do.

    they are different.

  • What a joke... no wonder people think hapkido and all those martial arts are a joke... look at their hands, they're down by their side... jumping around like pansies... I agree with TheBlackWaltz, this looks like TKD.

  • They keep their hands down to try and goad the other person into striking first. Most points in hapkido are scored on counters. They "jump" to keep their legs ready to strike; you don't want to be caught flat-footed. I agree that a lot of the fights I've seen look like taekwondo. I think maybe most kids here come from a TKD background and are more confident in their kicks, but I'm not sure. It's an interesting observation.

  • As for hapkido being a joke -- remember that this is a highly regulated tournament format. It's a sport, the goal is not to maim or hurt your opponent. If someone were to utilize hapkido skills in a life or death situation, it would not look like this.

  • Yes it looks like they have a TKD background and i agree with you that hapkido is not a joke. Hapkido has some of the most painful joint locks and throws.

  • This looks more like TKD, where are all the jointlocks and throws?

  • owned
