@CANCERCONE The factory tach is 500rpm off, it was my first build and didnt have an elbow at that time. there are alot of built cars with stock elbows actualy... besides. they flow the same. the metal ones just look better.
Dude how u gona talk shit with that gay ass steering wheel!!! Like for real My paint job was over $10,000 ok. And ur the first one to ever say a word dont hate!!!! By the way ur car does sound good jus stop talkin shit on fellow Z owners ok.
That's sick! Sounds amazing bro. I've got a white 98 Z28(SS Conversion). I've had it for 7 months, and have flowmaster exhaust( changing to magnaflow this summer) with cut outs, and K&N cold air intake.
Im working on getting cams, FAST intake manifold and throttle body, and throttle body spacer. Ill prolly get headers and Y-Pipe when I redo the exhaust. Let me know if you have any other ideas!
dont you meen CAM. lol not cams... its not a mustang. theres so much more you can do with an LS1. i put this motor in a vette and in the Camaro i have another fully built 383. sstill LT4
I was mistaken- the chet herbert cam is actually a little more agressive, almost a race only cam. Still, the thing sounds nice! What times are you running?
thanks. im not sure , i havnt ran it, i just got the dart heads and stuff so im putting it back together this week. the stock ported heads with the stock ported intake wasnt enough air goin into the motor so i got the dart pro 1, 200cc. with the 2.05 1.68 valves im waiting on my mono blade throttle body. it should have a little over 500 to the wheels and low 11's on motor but i have a double shot of N2o.
duno, havnt dynoed it yet, i ended up buyin a set of dart pro 1 200cc heads and its sittin in my driveway lol,... again. i wasnt gettin enough with the ported lt1 heads.
if you are going to use the car in the street and want more vacum for yours brakes, this can be useful: drill holes (1/8 ") in the blades of the throtle body, also this is good for the idliing
I have no problem with vacume, but thanks thats a good tip for anyone who is new to the game. or you can adjust the screw. that was the first start up also, so it was a completely untuned motor
Exhaust does sound good. Your wheels are nice as well, but the interior looks kinda ricey with all those gauges (you need 2 tachs? white gauges?). Can you even see the one in the middle of your dash? That steering wheel is hideous, and the white painted door trim doesn't help. If you only were to only show me a picture of your interior, and I didn't know Camaro's, I would think that it was a Honda. I would have left it stock. Seriously
How much vacuum does this cam make at idle?
I am currently looking at the 268XFIHR13, 280XFIHR13, or this cam 292XFIHR13.
I currently have a solid roller in my car but the lack of vacuum at idle kind sux for the a/c heater blend doors, makes like 3-5" at idle lol.
