I have a much better alternative.

Step one buy an android or iphone

Step 2 Install a diagnostics app

Step 3 get the adapter for taking readings inside the car.

DONE!

true hunter but you dont need much i mean really do you need a fast processor and tons of ram for a device that is meant to just take readings and perform diagnostics? it not like your going to watch movies or go on facebook lol, but i do admit the price is pretty high unless your going to school like i am and get it for 1000...

fuck the verus its nothing but a modis with a built in laptop that being said what happens when it go's out of date? I bet snap on will have to update the processor, hard drive, ram,...ect and it will cost 2k when I can just use my modis and buy a new laptop for a few hundred bucks.

I love my modis but the verus is a joke for the price and what you will get fucked out of when you need to update it.
