Look at the Federalist papers for a critique of the government of Iran; study the history of the USA to see why it has created the best government in the world that is safest for most of its people.

Weather Khomeini was a good or bad person, Religion and Government should never be mixed. Each has its own place in life. If you want to compare apples to apples in regards to cost of housing, food, goods, etc. Shah was much much better for Iran. If Shah's policies and consitution still existed, today Iran would be a country very similar to the US and Europe. IMO once state and religion learn to live at peace in Iran, is when we will see a true Free Iran........
