People, the second guitar's just for support, it's like transitrock explained. No doubt this is the very best version of Mrs. Robinson (Bon Jovi's version is my second favourite) and THE ORIGINAL only many many years after it's release. Great to watch this video, even Dustin Hoffman's on it! After seeing this you just can't miss out the chance to watch THE GRADUATE all over again.
@topasyout rofl, he is merely there to do the palm-muted percussions which gives this song it's character - he isn't even playing NOTES. Paul perform this song equally well all by himself.
Amazing!

This is a horrible cover of the Lemonheads.

This is not a version of Lemonheads. Is the version that Simon & Garfunkel performed on tour in 2003-2004 (Simon & Garfunkel Live on Stage)

They must have been listening to The Lemonheads' version. It's in the same key.

My appologies to the artists then. I turned out to be a musical ignorant here, sorry again and thanks for all clarifications.

@topasyout if you listen closely, there are two guitars. paul is indeed playing. the other guy plays percussive muting and the chorus' arpeggio.
