  • This is proof thad if SEGA remade the original sonic next gen it could be praised as the best sonic ever

  • The Wii's Sonic Unleashed sucked both graphically and gameplay-wise, unlike the 360's though...

  • I LOOOOOOOOOVE this boss! Who could of ever thought that one of the worst and most annoying Sonic character could turn out to be a epic boss.

  • 1:47

Laaaaa la la la la la la la laa la Katamari Demashi....

  • Lol at the end you can see silver unconscious on the ground

  • ok ok who was the one you piss off silver was it you sonic

    Sonic: uhm no

  • silver:are you sonic or an impostor? i must find out by THROWING CARS AT YOU!!!!!!!

  • Such a great boss - it's a shame the original Sonic 2K6 wasn't as great in my opinion. :(

  • sucks that modern sonic has more boss fights than classic. I would've loved to see Classic in action more.

  • Please tell me this game has some representation of the comic/cartoon (including AoStH). If not, FOR SHAME Sega!

  • @molemanninethousand The comics and cartoons are not canon to the games... At all. The games don't have Sally, Grounder and Scratcher, Snively and whoever else from the Comics and cartoons. Qouting Silver on this. "It's no use!"

  • @molemanninethousand Besides, Mighty, Ray, Nack the Weasal (I know him better as Fang the Sniper) and others from the old games just no longer exist in the games anymore. That's the real disappointment for all Sonic fans who grew up with the games. And you're looking at one of them.

  • @DarkSolnea If the comic franchise existed, exactly as it is, while the Sonic games did not, there ought to be a video game based on them. THERE NEEDS TO BE A FREAKING GAME WITH THAT STUFF. Sega can't just go on ignoring it.

  • @molemanninethousand Canon, obviously not, but this game is supposed to represent the entire Sonic franchise, which doesn't have a "canon" to begin with.

  • @molemanninethousand I would agree but I'm sure they mean the games when they said Sonic Franchise. And the games have their own canon and they stuck only with the games. And the fanbase of Sonic is mostly towards the games.

And they have ignored the comics and cartoons for 20 years now and they are a far greater power than the cartoons and comics so... I don't see why they can't keep ignoring it.

  • @DarkSolnea I highly disagree. The Sonic games are a stale, derivative mess. The comics have a much better story and plenty of fresh characters that deserve to be properly animated.

  • @molemanninethousand Also, the main villain of this game SHOULD HAVE been the Mobius version of Dr. Robotnik, not some random made–up monster.

  • @molemanninethousand The main villian in this game, SPOILER, is Eggman or rather two Eggmans. And it' not random as they gave the reason for the Time Eater. It follows right after Sonic Colors. And the planet that they all live on is considered to be Mobius though it was never called by name.

And his name is full Ivo 'Eggman' Robotnik just so you know.

  • @DarkSolnea No, it's not. If it was Mobius it would have the characters and other elements from the comics and they surely would have referred to it by name by now.

  • @DarkSolnea I hadn't even bothered to check that, the Time Eater is such a stupid idea.

Plus, two Eggmans? That is retarded. The whole ploy that they're playing up there being two of each character is pointless, since they're the exact same character just with different designs. Mobius Sonic and Sega Sonic, however, ARE different characters. A "crossover" with the two of them would be an actual crossover.

  • @molemanninethousand I sent an message to you. We can argue there.

  • What molemanninethousand is trying to explain is that the Sonic from the cartoons and comics is not really the same Sonic from the games. There's a different continuity line .

  • Ha, he is nothing without his Glitchokinesis

  • it so satisfying to see silver roll on the ground after you hit him

  • @NinjaKage100 he doesn't roll after you beat him, the ball stops rolling before he hits it and after it collapses he just keeps bouncing on the ground.

  • @Silverhedgie11 ah sorry my mistake there

  • @NinjaKage100 that's ok, i'm just glad you didn't insult me for telling you that. :P

  • This was a very clever boss battle and easily the best one in the game.

  • It's no use! Take this!

  • Is Dreams of Absolution anywhere in the game? I like the theme they chose for the battle, but would also like the option to make Dreams of Absolution play during the battle.

  • @UltimaShadow7 It plays in the Pre-Battle dialogue.

  • i feel bad for silver

  • @IainStudios why?

  • @Silverhedgie11 Maybe because he gets his ass kicked in this battle?

  • @ShadeKetchum i wasn't talking to you.

    So mind your own bussiness.

  • @Silverhedgie11 There's no need to be rude. You asked a question, so I decided to answer it.

  • @IainStudios he fricken got CRUSHED BY A GAINT BALL OF CARS! hes probably dead now -_-

  • Comment removed

  • @IainStudios no sega logic kicked in then he only has a scratch probably

  • @IainStudios if you pay attention you can still see him crashing on the highway so he was hit by it not run over by it

  • woah this is insane XD

  • This boss was so bloody satisfying, beating the living shit out of the character that represents the worst game in Sonic history.

  • @gagaman actually its Sonic who represented that game, and Elise. Silver was just added because they eager to have him a hd console game like Blaze.

    Not his fault.

  • Goddammit! If shit like Unleashed made it onto the Wii, why in the name of god, heaven and hell, of all things sacred and holy, did THIS not get put on that crap-shoot of a system? A Sonic game done right since Sonic Adventure 2, and I can't play it. This some old bullsh*t, man... I might have to get Steam if this game looks any better...

  • @Worenx Generations wasn't put on Wii because Sega says the purpose of Generations is to see past Sonic levels with HD graphics. Since according to them, the Wii doesn't support HD graphics, it's not getting Generations....

  • @StevenSpielberg1994

Oh, I see the reason. And here I thought it was something important, like hardware limitations, hahahaa... BS! Seriously, I couldn't care any less about HD graphics, I want to enjoy the damn game. Employ the ridiculous scale options from Superman 64 and draw the graphics in crayon, I would still play it if it was good. So because of graphical limitations, I have to settle for Sonic 4? Brilliant, Sega. Denying a long-time fan who happens to own a Wii his childhood memories.

  • @Worenx I sympathize... I forget if they said it's coming to the WiiU or not though....

  • @StevenSpielberg1994

Eh, screw the WiiU. After the Wii, unless they ditch the stupid motion control gimmick, I refuse to buy another Nintendo system. It's as over-hyped and gimmicky as the 3DS.

If this comes out for the Wii later, I'll still be bitter, mostly because it's like Nintendo going back to core gamers after catering to their now mostly dead casual gamer base and realizing just where their profits came from. "We're sorry, please come back, loyal fans!" Not counting on that though...

  • You could have saved your money for a PlayStation 3, like I'm doing .

  • @filipeflower

I shouldn't have to do that. The reason it isn't on the Wii is because it needed to be 'prettier', not because the Wii couldn't handle it. The Wii handled Unleashed and Sonic 4 just fine, and this game IS pretty much those games without the SUCK from what I've seen. For all intents and purposes, it COULD be on the Wii, but ISN'T, because it's gotta look all SUPERHAPPYFUNTIMEHI-DEFGRAPHICS. And the Wiitard Sonic fans (Me too) suffer for backing a HD-less console.

  • But I also agree that they could have ported Sonic Generations for the Nintendo Wii, if they wanted to. It's not like it's impossible, I mean, the PC version doesn't require HD to work.

  • @filipeflower

Exactly. There was no reason for it to not hit the Wii shelves, but it didn't.

  • this one of the coolest fight
