I saw this song live, danced with a beautiful green eyed girl, smiled, and loved the moment, some things are ethereal like that and you fall in love with them, like this song. Thanks for putting it up.
@ekimzaga yeah man.. how can we never had listen this before? such a great sound, 10 years to discover.. eheh but better now than never! glad to found this :D
Bristols a place I would love to experience. Got a real nice collection of dark south west sounds which I DJ ranging from Smith and Mighty, Massive Attack, Portishead,Tricky, Kosheen, Roni Size, DJ Pinch, Earthling, Up Bustle and Out, Numbskullz, Appleblim, AllFlaws

@MistaDodge indeed its very much a similar style as Portishead. this was one of the first trip hop acts, which inspired many early artists like Portishead :)
these people must really not have been very famous, there isnt even a Wikipedia on them. but its a real nice song, came onto it from a Portishead vid and it fit right in in style/quality! my trip-hop voyage of discovery continues!
Yea, really. TY!!! Really obscure song. I've loved it for a long time as well. never knew there was a video to it. Thus, you have enhanced my life by bringing it to me. Great post!
LOOOOOOVE this SONG! First heard it about 2 years ago while watching of all things, a Stockton CA crime watcher bullitin channel while trying to sleep. Been addicted ever since... absolutely beautiful song.

Bits of other people keep running into me
They say you know just who you are
I am getting pulled into shadows that surround
I see you sitting on your cold star

@MistaDodge
i guess there are some superficial similiarities...regarding this tune specifically. And this tune did come out of Bristol in '96 or so...
In general however, Smith and Mighty have little in common sonically with Portishead, and more in common with say, Rockers Hi-Fi.
