and just like her character, she doesn't know when to shut fuck up.

  • it's one thing to think that you're going to be the next jay-z, or to put all your energy into rapping when you should have contingency plans, but can't a nigga have a hobby without being called fake or a wannabe? #justsayin

  • That's why i listen to a few underground groups. Amanda Diva know's what sh'es saying. I can't listen to mainstream anymore. Its just crap. Its dead. Its retarded its all about money "bitches" and all that is corrupt. No more soul, no more poetry, no more music. So i listen to underground. Fuc today's "gangster rappers"

  • Nicki Minaj!!! straight up!!

  • Thats Some Clever Shit. She Hot As Hell Too.

  • super hot hot hot hot hot hot

  • yo a lot of people think that they don't have to work hard to make it. They think that talent is all you need or the right opportunity but thats why its a lot of garbage out here because those garbage niggas worked hard as hell and still workin hard to put shit out while the most talented niggas talkin about some real shit fall short cause they can't or won't do the work it takes.

  • @hiphopiam BULLSHIT!~ The truth is garbage nigga's are picked up not because they work harder, but because they're willing to do anything for the money, including mislead and demean their own people. A real Mc, a real Poet, won't sell themselves and become sluts to major multi million dollar labels to survive.

Besides, true artists are purposefully declined opportunities, because they'd rather not teach the people who listen to the music.

Niggas are chosen because they speak garbage.

  • @SilverFlowingEyes i think we both right. both things are simultaneously going on.

  • ive never been so attracted to any female in my live son

  • what is she doing out the kitchen??

  • lololol 'super negro'

  • Ayyy dats my wifeeyyy

  • i would mary this women she t sexy

  • So powerful poetry is my 1st love.

  • SHE A BEATS & GORGEOUS.... I CAN RELATE CUZ I DO REAL MU$IQ! IM AN MC NOT A RAPPER, HOLLA FOR PRODUCTION!

  • Did yall know she was the girl Deonne from "my brother And Me"?

  • i am in love!!!!

  • most people sag their pants low and fancy them the saviours of HIP HOP.

Not cool, this is for those staying true to the funk.

  • omg loove her

these poets would kill these rappers out here

  • Waaaaay better that "Hot Shit".

  • mmmmhmmmmm

  • Now when she does the poetry she Is over good. But didn't like her rap tune. Its a shame because she sounds like she should be a relly good at rap.

  • Hon är verkligen söt/snygg/het/bra/vacker/bäst mm.mm

  • she is trippin' I know a lot of christian rappers, who rap for GOD and they don't put the mic up! Da T.R.U.T.H, Sho Barack, Lecrea...ect. that is to name a few.

  • @MoDizzle92377 she's talkin about all rappers especially the mainstream one's today rapping about things which aren't relevant, and influencing the youth in a really terrible way

  • I can listen to her spit all day long

  • I think she has a good performance style, but her rhymes are so contrived, it's painful. Personal opinion...

  • i love this chick

  • wow thats deep!!

  • @vampira13vampiro13 as deep as an empty cup

  • that's why people go underground, where the real emcees r @

  • "insincerity has no longevity, u feel me?" LOVE IT!!!!!

  • it was kinda weak...definitely true but still...u cud tell the crowd was like "um okay"

  • @tuckerb16

I agree. I agreed with what she said, but it was a lil weak.

  • typical emcee, she was right about how there are a lot of them, she's living proof

  • @ericwhithr2007 Hahahahahahaha, so true.

  • yea the guy at the end (Al B. Back) is that guy from the movie ATL

  • I just fell in love with her and the poem. Omg this is so good beyond belief!

  • For Some Reason,, She Remnds Me Of Queen Latifah. She Looks Her Especially..

  • she's not taking no shots at anyone,

she just wrote a sick poem :)

  • I loved this so true. I love how you dont name anyone but situations. The truth is people drop there so called dream acuz they see it wont be profitable. A dream worth achieving is not realized unless you struggle to get there. You can work and still work on your dream. I work a full time job raise three kids and take online courses to accomplish my dream. I wont let finances, other peoples words or anything else stop me. I have a dream to aceive to prove to my kids you can dream and acheive.

  • well she didnt just call out soulija boy she called out everyone actually she even came at mas think about it she said ".....one became a born again christian" that sounds like a direct hit at him i dont agree wit the one at mase but i do agree that hip hop is bullshyt now

  • go watch vinnie paz lecturin hip hop 101.....sayin its all bullshit is just being lazy....swear ever since nas dropped that joint thats all anyone has to say...its never dead, u just gotta look for real emcees still smashing...

  • This song is about Soulja Boy... this is one of the hottest spits on that stage... Both this and the one that followed.

  • HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! shes awesome.

  • I LOVE THIS POEM!!! HELLA MUCH!

  • Ha, I remember from the show My brother and Me. She is mad cute.

Her rhyme is mad true. At first there's like 40 emcees, than circumstances happen and we fid out who was the real MC

  • since everyones on this bullshit, can i be the first to say,

    fuck this self righteous shit...

she has no right to say who can and cant rhyme, and for what reason they should and shouldnt, this poem is the most ridiculously self important shit i've ever heard...

    fuck it.

  • ur not understanding it. shes sayin that the 40 emcees are the ones that are rappers until they figure out they ain't gettin paid and they records ain't sellin and all kinds of other bullshit. the rappers that just wanna rap so they can get chains and hoes. she dissin the cats that don't respect the culture or the grind in hip hop, fake ass wack ass emcees.

  • please dont insult my intelligence.

i understand perfectly clearly what she's saying, you're lay-mans terms explanation is unnecessary, what i was saying is that, it is not her job nor anybody elses to say what an emcee is, real hip hop heads know soulja boy is garbage and JMT are real hip hop, that DOESN'T allow her to act holier than thou and be so self satisfied, because honestly, real hip hop is forever, so fuck soulja boy, but let him make his money.

  • Also, the ones that haad to get jobs, HAD TO GET JOBS, its an imature and selfish person who refuses to support people that rely on them because they HAVE TO chase their dream, sometimes u have to sacrifice your dream for ure chilren or mother to eat...

my problem is not with the message of the poem, only that it is stating the obvious and doesnt account for the reality that life isnt black and white easy...

    regards,

    Twiggs Munroe.

  • but if ur passionate about something u wouldn't let your job slow u down from ur aspiration of rapping. just because u need to get a job doesn't mean u HAVE to stop writing.

  • calm down jack. You still don't get it. Bottom line, Q-tip said it best, "rappin nigga forreal, You could find me in a cipher if i didn't have a deal." period. Folks like you get on this internet & talk like you know wassup. I am a poet, and i speak on what I feel. Who are you to say that I have no place to address emcees that exploit a culture of artistry for solely materialistic means? Get off your soapbox and listen again. Furthermore i wrote this in 2001 Soulja Boy was a 5th grader.

  • please shut the fuck up with the "folks like you" shit ive been spittin for years, makin tracks and just rappin with people, i go to university, and have a job dont talk as tho u know me.If u understood what my problem was, u'd see its not the adressing those who exploit, but calling those who have to make their situatuion work and therefore put JUST rhyming on the backburner until they can concentrate on it sellouts..."IM A POET" doesnt mean ure above critisism either...soulja boy was an EXAMPLE

  • well put. why the hell do people think she is talking about certain people? she didnt drop any names, how the hell do you get soldier boy out of 40 mc's? Just goes to show, just to many rappers and not enough fans.

  • This poem IS stating the obvious, Twiggs, but you have yet to see it. I am also a poet with two children. I keep my music and poetry going WITHOUT having to sacrifice neither because my poetry IS AS MUCH A PART OF ME AS MY CHILDREN ARE! True poetry lives in the soul. This poem was pointing out those who don't have it in theirs. They're not REAL MC's. I don't have to choose between being BLACK and being a dad because my skin cannot be changed. My soul can't be either. REAL LYRICS CAN'T be faked.

  • Some people are built to be certain things in life. Not everybody can be an MC. THAT is the reality that YOU don't see, Twiggs. Amanda Diva ended this poem telling those who don't have the truest essence of an MC to put their pens down and do something else...whatever they were meant to do. In short, just because someone WANTS to rap, doesn't mean they are supposed to. If they have to choose between something and music, that means they are not supposed to be doing music in the first place.

  • yes that's exactly what im saying. There are no shots at soulja boy or Ma$e lol. i wrote this in 2001. One was in elementary school and the other was still on BadBoy!

  • Is she still with floetry?

  • You have the wrong person she was never in floetry.

  • Actually, she was. She temporarily replaced one of the members... Check it out. :)

  • i stand corrected. :) Thanks for the information.

  • No prob! lol

  • MAJOR CUTIE

  • Haha I like this as a poem. It works so well. Top marks to her.

  • my mami my baby
