Wait. Those calculations are wrong, about having to make 1.44m an hour in order to do green d'hide bodies. Because you divided by the time it takes to superglass make, not by the time it takes to make d'hide bodies. There's an extra 42 hours of which you are able to do a different money making method.
@DaveAlmighty300 Please read teh calculations over again. They make perfect sense exactly the way they are written. Please note though that they were done with GE prices of July 20, 2009 and so it may not be an accurate indication of what's worth doing at the moment. I am certain that they are sound for their time however.
@HorcruxRab Alright, maybe I phrased it strangely. They are correct yes, but not in the way I mean. There's 64 hours saved by doing Green D'hide bodies. And you counted those 64 hours into those calculations for superglass make. However, you would be able to use a different form of money making in those 64 hours, say... 800k an hour at green dragons, so you'd have to take off 300k x 64 from the final calculation, so it gets to 72.2m I think. (Going off memory). So divide 72.2m by 82.5 = 875k/hr

Doing Superglass make would profit 46.3M and take 64 more hours whereas Bodies would have a loss of 49.5M and save those 64 hours instead. This is a difference in your potential cash pile of 92.2M, to save or spend 64 hours. If you do something with teh time saved by making bodies which is profitable like green dragons as you suggest, it would need to be at lease 1.44M/hour for it to be worth saving the time crafting
If anyone could help me out with this, I have no idea how to make the mouse jump that far. It's all set up, it's just a matter for me of finding out how to adjust the mouse jumps... as it is now I have to hold a button down for it to move, and it accelerates, but it's really slow/inaccurate like this. It depends on the speed of your mouse and the speed settings on mousekeys. I don't really know how to explain specifically how I set it up, I just mix it around until it works.

I do think it is a good way to get 99 Crafting if you have the patience to stick with it. I did it from 77 to 95 Crafting before I finally lost my patience and did the rest with Green Bodies, but it's doable.
I can't really say how long it will take you. find out your exp/hour and the average amount of time you play per day, and you can find out yourself.
Can't say how much you'd profit. The market changes too frequently the guage a longterm amount, but suffice it to say you'd make a lot.
Ye. But i'm doing this method right now. And its fantastic!.. the best way to train craftng and make profit. So all people, this method isnt bad! its make lot of profit, and xp.
Astrals went really steep in price for awhile, but they seem to be settling back down again. Even when astrals are high, they don't hugely affect the profit of this techniques since the bulk of the cost per spell is in the form of sand and seaweed.
yeah, i don't honestly see how this can profit, even considering the extra glass that you make. bucket of sand, seaweed, and 2 astral runes at max cost 1087 gp, while a molten glass sells for 520 gp ... unless i am doing something wrong?
I don't see how you could possibly have lost 2m by doing this since it profits EVEN if you buy all the supplies for max and sell the glass for min. Glass sells instantly for max atm now anyways, so you can't even sellf or min if you tried...
As far as being bad exp, I think 45k mage and 75k craft exp is pretty darm good for an hour considering that you profit.

All I can really suggest is that you change around the speed settings not only on mousekeys but on the mouse itself until you find a combination that works.
Also it's important to have "enchanced pointer precision" check off in mouse settings so that the second jump with mousekeys goes further.
My mousekeys were all messed up too, had to go to a different setting. I was gonna quit but then I realized all 5 million active players of Runescape would simultaneously kill themselves if I left.
As far as I know it still does. I stopped doing it about a week ago, and prices were strong as ever then. I doubt they would have changed drastically since then.
Sorry how does that work? The sand is 212gp per bucket, seaweed is 240, astrals are 203 each and you need two for the spell, so thats 400, if you rule out the fires that is 850 per spell, to make 460gp worth of glass? so you lose cash... Am I right?

It's around 500 spells an hour, not 1000. Read the description, like is says at 0:02, it doesn't take that long, and it makes it so I don't waste my time replying to your comments.
You should actually read it a few times over, for clarity.
They don't always sell at max... just because it sold at max overnight for you for 1 hour worth of spells doesn't mean it always will... by all means try to sell for max, but it will NOT always sell at max.
Also, those exp rate are very low. 30k mage is only 385 spells/hour. This is an average speed for someone new to the method, not using mousekeys, and not using a full bank.
With more experience, and the above mentioned requirements, you can get almost 600 spells per hour (significant)
That's why you need to keep your bank at its fullest capacity like I said in the video. by keeping it at 496/496 items, and having stacks of sand, seaweed and molten glass in your bak, you can deposit only the glass while keeping the runes in your inventoy.

I calculated this and as of today you make 1400 GP per spell.
"Using this technique, you can cast the spell around 500-600 times per hour"
1400 x 550 = 770K Per Hour
This is if you're getting the avg of 16.9 per spell.
So, yes you do still make profit.

It depends on the speed of your mouse and the speed settings on mousekeys. I don't really know how to explain specifically how I set it up, I just mix it around until it works.

If you complete the quest "Hand in the Sand", you can collect 84 free buckets of sand per 24 hours by speaking with the NPC Bert from the quest.

Quite Frankly, I don't know how long it took. once i got the hang of it, I was consistently getting 75k Crafting exp/hour if that helps.
I made probably like 40-50M or so from this, but the profit wasn't as high as it is now. You could make about double that based on today's prices.

I do think it is a good way to get 99 Crafting if you have the patience to stick with it. I did it from 77 to 95 Crafting before I finally lost my patience and did the rest with Green Bodies, but it's doable.
I can't really say how long it will take you. find out your exp/hour and the average amount of time you play per day, and you can find out yourself.
Can't say how much you'd profit. The market changes too frequently the guage a longterm amount, but suffice it to say you'd make a lot.

Astrals went really steep in price for awhile, but they seem to be settling back down again. Even when astrals are high, they don't hugely affect the profit of this techniques since the bulk of the cost per spell is in the form of sand and seaweed.

yeah, i don't honestly see how this can profit, even considering the extra glass that you make. bucket of sand, seaweed, and 2 astral runes at max cost 1087 gp, while a molten glass sells for 520 gp ... unless i am doing something wrong?

I don't see how you could possibly have lost 2m by doing this since it profits EVEN if you buy all the supplies for max and sell the glass for min. Glass sells instantly for max atm now anyways, so you can't even sellf or min if you tried...
As far as being bad exp, I think 45k mage and 75k craft exp is pretty darm good for an hour considering that you profit.

I think it's pretty awesome how much glass you can get from just 13 pairs of ingredients. I once got 21 glass from 1 cast of this spell.

Fortunately the Astral Runes make up a very small portion of the costs with this method.
Sure, they're more expensive and you spend more on Astrals, but you spend over 10X more on the Seaweed and Sand for a spell than the 2 Astrals.
In short, the cost of Astral Runes doesn't hugely affect the profit of this method.

It absolutely does still work.
All I can really suggest is that you change around the speed settings not only on mousekeys but on the mouse itself until you find a combination that works.
Also it's important to have "enchanced pointer precision" check off in mouse settings so that the second jump with mousekeys goes further.

My mousekeys were all messed up too, had to go to a different setting. I was gonna quit but then I realized all 5 million active players of Runescape would simultaneously kill themselves if I left.

Sorry how does that work? The sand is 212gp per bucket, seaweed is 240, astrals are 203 each and you need two for the spell, so thats 400, if you rule out the fires that is 850 per spell, to make 460gp worth of glass? so you lose cash... Am I right?

one spell transforms 13 seaweed and sand into an average of 16.9 molten glass, so those exrta 3.9 make up for it

They don't always sell at max... just because it sold at max overnight for you for 1 hour worth of spells doesn't mean it always will... by all means try to sell for max, but it will NOT always sell at max.
Also, those exp rate are very low. 30k mage is only 385 spells/hour. This is an average speed for someone new to the method, not using mousekeys, and not using a full bank.
With more experience, and the above mentioned requirements, you can get almost 600 spells per hour (significant)

You get 10 exp per sand and seaweed consumed, and since you use 13 and and seaweed per spell, you get 78 magic and 130 crafting per spell.

That's why you need to keep your bank at its fullest capacity like I said in the video. by keeping it at 496/496 items, and having stacks of sand, seaweed and molten glass in your bak, you can deposit only the glass while keeping the runes in your inventoy.
