  • What is teacher is saying is like 'California was conquered by spaniards so it mexican' but its not. The same here Falkland is British end of story, but if argentina has the balls to take it back, show it

  • If radicals attack the oil rigs they will be sunk or shot out of the sky and the culprits treated as pirates - if it's found that its a countries military attacking it will be an act of war with an appropriate military responce from UK - its not a treat or a war rally its a standard reaction to aggression

  • Hopefully Proud Argentinians would get their peace of Land. INSHALLAH !!!

  • @yarrjan001 its does not belong to them and by the way their claim makes no sense

how can a people who's ancestry are colonists who stole Argentina from the Natives really have a right to a land where a people have lived longer than Argentina has been an Independent Country ?

  • Whoever has it will not want to give it away, and whoever is fighting for something won't stop until they get what they want or until they know they can never get it.

  • So the UK should de-militarise the Falklands; after one invasion, once bitten twice shy. A blockade, dangerous populist rhetoric. Argentine school textbooks full of historic fiction. - it was conquered by the Spanish, therefore its ours? Is that their claim? Not at all colonialist then, lol. Argentina needs to get a grip on historic reality and change their textbooks to prevent future bloodshed.

  • Colonial suggests there were native populations that were displaced, like in Argentina. Where as the truth is Britain has always had the largest settlements, although they had to boot out French/Spanish settlers at times. The only native Falkland inhabitants were Penguins.

  • @Dubwise78 lolz

  • hahaha we are ready to take argentina and her allies bring it on cant u remember what happened 30 year ago god u argentines will never learn

  • South American BULLYS

  • @vacagonzalo She has already acted out a ruthless campaign of power grabbing. All who oppose her must be sidelined. She's already taken power from parliament and placed it all in the hands of the execuitve - she's destoryed the military and at the moment she's attacking the private media. She rules by decree not by parlimentary debate and the platform for her power comes from the mob who she throws crumbs and free football

    She's the argentine Nero

    She is mentally unstable

    Evil

  • @vacagonzalo There are a number of countries in the world tat don't allow there citizens access to the web - so they can't communicate with the outside world and don't understand what's going on

I can think of two: North Korea and Cuba

Is that the direction you want to be taking?

  • @bluemuleii And there are over 200 million americans who don't know whats going on, still.

  • @bluemuleii I didn't know that. Only people like you might. Thanks for sharing.

Fijate, Traidor

  • Meanwhile in England's other colony, Ireland, the proud citizens, having formally submitted to the foreign occupation of the north-east portion of their island, go about their business working to pay off share holders of Anglo-Irish bank and abandoning whatever is left of their national sovereignty to the EU.

  • damn, cant we all just get along?

  • @VietIs250 assuming you are a white person, you hoping the world would get alone,is kind of like going up to someone, beat the crap out of them and take all their money, and few days later saying"lets just forgive everything and be friends!",seriously, you think thats possible or reasonable?

  • If England had their way they would still own India, China, Africa, Austraila etc etc etc. Ex colonialists? Yeah right. Argentina rightfully should own the Falklands, not the "empire".

  • @1undergroundsound

England has had a long claim to the Falklands way before the Argentinians, if you look back in history the islands were EMPTY so the brits just settled in, they colonized and tamed the land, so they have the right to keep their little territory.

Argentina just has an agenda, because the GDP of the FI is much highter than most of their towns and cities and the fact THERE might be oil...

  • @killzone321 logically, falklands should belong to the native americans

  • @farooqmm1987

The "Locals" ARE NOT natives they're Invaders, decedents of the Spanish and Portuguese INVADERS that BUTCHERED and Killed the locals with weapons and diseases... and the Brits didn't, because the Falklands was an unmarked claim they took.

The Falklands was colonized like French Guyana was by the french... why aren't the Viva Latin America neighbors attacking or claiming land in French Guyana? understand, it's about the Oil... not bullshit national sovereignty.

  • @1undergroundsound

if england had their way?you do realize in 2012,if england(or UK) had a full out war with china without any foreign intervention(probably even WITH),china can beat the crap out of them

  • @ulongkoror

I dont think China or the U.K have any issues with eachother though...

  • @Blackmountain992 actualy anglo-chinese relations are very good

  • @Fatman5ish

    Thats what i said...

  • Although Self-Determination is obviously valid I believe the only way this issue will be resolved is if we also show them the historical evidence that is utterly overwhelming but as this video prooves, the Argentines simply never get told and so are more or less "brain-washed" into thinking we are pirates, we stole the islands off them. I urge anyone to type on Google "Getting it right" Graham Pascoe and judge for yourselves..

  • I just cant understand why Argentina claims to have a claim when that young generation is so determined to be British and to be able to defend themselves.

  • Argies have as much awareness of there belief system as a Beagle who thinks smoking is a healthy habit

Peronism is a disastrous political/social experiment that has destroyed Argentina

  • Kids of that age asked to play on the falklands playmat - ludicrous retard nation

They're trying to instill some kind of mythic/religous status for the holy malvinas grail

    Its really very sick -

when these kids grow up they'll say propaganda? what propaganda?

  • That learning playmat says it all 8:18

A massive argentine flag and some tiny islands. This was not a learning experience about the geography of the islands was it - you'd need a magnifying glass for that!!

    Total Nationalist Patriotic Conditioning

  • you use the same aircraft from back then and your coming against the typhoon, regarded as one of the best air superiority fighters in the world. your coming up against the type 45 destroyer, one alone could end your airforces involvement. your coming up against numerous rapier air defence systems and over 2000 soldiers. your coming up against all our special forces on the islands within 48 hours and i wont even mention our sub fleet

  • do you not have the intelligence to even look up the correct history of the falklands in argentina. look at spanish text and see if they support your claim. hopw can you even believe your own government considering the things theve done to you in the past. but anyway i guess well settle this soon and there be once again a lot of dead people. more than likley a lot more argentinians than british

  • Wow! What a bunch of brainwashed fucking retards argentines are. Those islands are a hell of a lot more British than Argentina belongs to you murdering Spaniards.

  • @chewbaccadefense99 Esta a 14.000Kms de Inglaterra y solo a 600Km de argentina tenemos mas en comun con las islas que uds.

  • Whether Argentina likes it or not, they were the bad guys in the Falklands.

  • jeez , but the comments left by argentines on this story, i would have thought the argentinian ministry of propaganda was headed by the late kim jung il.

if argentina can respect, accept , and even publically fete the self determination of ONE islander ( clearly not a pirate, colonialist, or kelper) to be argentinian, then they should do the same for 99.99% of the remaining islanders who choose to remain british.

  • If they start another war we should teach them a lesson by flattening Buenos Aires to the ground.

  • I wonder if it will just be the UK mauling the argies this time, or the entire EU.. fun to watch, go get em limeys - US.

  • if argentinian government try again they will lost again in my opinion !

  • lol, I wonder how much they payed that twat.

  • i never realised how subhuman the argies were.

never lost the jungle mentality i guess

  • Fucking Argentinian colonialists.

  • Argentina doing a good North Korea impression with that brainwashing.

  • They threaten like a bunch of dockside bullies.

    The usual Argentine thuggery.

    .

  • 1.The islands were never Argentina's in the first place

2.The Islanders want to remain British (Kicking them out would be like Kicking Israelis out of Israel)

3.The Falkland are basically a country now, but are protected by Britain (Kind of Like Wales, Scotland, etc)

4.Argentina are acting like a spoiled brat, calling Britain names and then wanting to enter into "negotiations" we fought for those islands after they were illegally taken through an act of war so why would we give them to argentina

  • If it wasn't for the presence of potential oil reserves would we be hearing anything about this, I can't help but wonder. Now we hear that Brazil, Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay have blocked Falkland island registered boats from their ports, and the UK navy has been placed on standby. As Boy George sang in 1984 "War is stupid, and people are stupid."

  • @willthecanary political jostling, no one would be "forced" to leave if they are long time residents! especially with what Argentina has been through in the last 30 years....

  • Bad Mistake if America sides with Argentina. Are Americans so dumb and stupid to go against the British ?

  • @MyMerlin1 your a fucking idiot

  • @MyMerlin1 It would be a far worse idea if they side with Britain. Argentina is part of the americas and i doubt US want to ruin south america /north america relations , especially with argentina's latin american allies watching every move the US makes

  • @willthecanary protected from who? its not like Argentina is saying anyone has to leave, their simply saying that they have a territorial right to determine whether a Nation on another continent has a right to influence in a place which is not theirs. Argentina loses money in the fishing industry to English Co's.

  • @Wally1967 The people of Hong Kong wanted to remain British but you were scared shit-less of China and you ran home with your tails between your legs. Britain is broke and the sun has set on the British empire a long time ago. Time to go home and do what us Americans tell you to do. We say jump and you say how high sir. Join us in an illegal war in Iraq and you say yes anything you want. Get my point. All empires are wrong including the American one.

  • Lets be fair. How can any sane person believe Britain has any right to these Islands. It's time they returned what they stole. The notion of that right wing fucking pig Cameron ruling over me is enough to make me puke.

  • @dellboy99 Britain doesn't 'own' it. The people of the falklands own it, and they CHOOSE to be protected by britain, and choose to keep their status.

  • @dellboy99 The UK did not steal it. The Falklands are British and its inhabitants are British. The Falklands are certainly less "stolen" than Argentina itself, indigenous land and peoples conquered and annihilated by the Spaniards. Britain's claim to the Falklands are stronger than European Argentines.

  • British out now.

  • South America is sick, and the disease is Collectivism.

Hundreds of millions of people who always have and always will be kept backward by their own Government, supported by ignorant masses.

After centuries of civilisation, many people there are still living in filth with no intention to advance themselves.

  • The Media is using this as a excuse to oust progressive socialists in Latin America and institute US,UK capitalistic/corporate ambitions.

  • and more truth....The Islands are 240Km or something from the Argentine coast, and the UK is what, 7000km? there's your answer.....

  • @two0sixTay who cares? Uruguay is right next door - does that give the right to conquer it? Is the argument for Argentina based on the genocide of the Conquest of the Desert and the fascist occupation of the native peoples of Patagonia? Because that is just insane.

  • @cyclingheroify The only point Im making is Argentina has just as much, if not more of right to the Islands than the UK. What if Argentina decided to recognize a united Ireland? or if they sent material support to the IRA? I dont think the UK would like that very much. I have no connection to Argentina or the UK, I just a have opinion, and I could wrong but doesnt mean its any less valid then anyone else.

  • @two0sixTay So, uh, America has the right to invade Mexico because it is next door? Argentina is free to recognise a United Ireland, there isn't a united Ireland govt., it doesn't exist, but sure, it's free to do any insane thing it likes. Argentina never owned the Falklands. It's pretty basic that people who live in a place, born in a place have the right to determine their own future. It's called justice and democracy.

  • Thatcher used the Falklands as a excuse to get popularity in a time when Britain's economy was in shambles. That is not a justification of Argentina's invasion because they did it for the same reason! Truth is the Falklands have NO strategic value to Britain unless they are looking to bring back the empire...

  • @two0sixTay That is true. Did you know that at the time of the invasion, Thatcher was drawing up plans to reduce the Royal Navy to a mere costal defence fleet? - including decomissioning the aircraft carriers that proved vital to British victory:

    watch?v=G1TeHq2ofZA

The only reason the navy wasn't cut was because the invasion came a year early.

Nevertheless, I do believe that it is right that we did take them back - self determination is so important in the modern world.

  • @gabrielschembri not for long...

  • With the rabid Nationalistic sentiment and Patriotic overdrive over these islands no wonder the Argentina lived under a Facist Military regime for years.

  • If there OIL near those Islands then Argentina is Fucked sideways.

  • Fuck Britain and Americans!....they just want strategyc terretory all around the world!...

  • @zinedinefede correction, we HAVE strategic territory all over the world.

  • @zinedinefede As it said in the video, Argentinia has never owned the islands. Secondly, it's for the people who live there to decide. Not some bigoted government, on either side.

  • @2491cc And what do the people of the Falklands want? Generations upon generations have wanted to live in peace. James Peck is a Benedict Arnold.

  • Comment removed

  • Everyone knows Falklands really belong to Russia.....:)

  • Do Argentina know exactly what they are getting them selves into if they cause a war over islands that are not theirs?

Argies, this is not 1982.. britain is more powerful than it was back then. our country was in termoil back home and we destroyed you in 73 days...we are more advanced, more richer, and are we are ready for conflict.. Argentina, you are 15 years behind us in economy and military might!

get a grip christina you botox slag!

  • Sounds like a great new mission for the battle hardened troops returning from Afghanistan.

  • Do you really want your arse kicked again in future? get over it.

People of Falklands want to keep as British protection.

So much for propaganda and James Peck is an idiot.

  • @Wally1967 because they are all british faggot! that's why they want to keep british protection!

  • @Wally1967 Malvinas Argentinas nada de FUCKLANDS

  • @latinluigi Sos un pelotudo....

  • @lasmanos Wanna get fucked by an American and British Carrier Strike Group Ass Hole? which is what would happen if you dip shits tried to take the Falklands back from the British I wouldn't mind my US Navy helping our British brothers out in wiping Argentina off the map, you guys think you're some kind of supreme nation thats pure.....Jesus, you guys think a drug addict named Diego Armando Maradona is a God you people are more fucked from the head than the North Koreans!

Piratas!!!

  • @lasmanos Shut up you half wit. There is no way this video is 30 years old - its quite blatently very modern

  • @lasmanos We've heard this before like a stuck record player. The 1833 story from Argentina is a Peronist fairy tale. We don't trust Argentina's government whatever they say. Your rhetoric is a war dance. Your navy have already harassed FI flagged ships (technically an act of war)so we are forced to make plans. Have a nice day and I hope you let go of your frustrations for your own sakes.

  • @lasmanos The General Assembly is not a legitimate authority. They can only make recommendations. You have to go to the court in the Hague. Saludos.

  • @lasmanos If thats your idea of a normal history lesson you haven't got a clue what education is. Its quite clearly indoctrination. Do you get out the argentine flag and sing patriotic hymns in a maths lesson?

UN resolutions are recommendations - they are not legally binding. Terrorism is when a Navy harrasses innocent fishemen going about there business. Terrorism is when UK business get harassed by the argentine state when going about legal business

  • @lasmanos So lets get this right -an australian TV company wanted to film how kids were being indoctrinated by propaganda in the education system so the school laid on a special exhibtion of indoctrination? They invented this whole lesson plan just show the outside world how they abuse there children?

Coming from an argentine that makes sense - from anybody else it would be complete lunacy

I understand how using the auditorium would make sense to accomadate cameras - the rest?!?!?

  • @lasmanos What nonsense - when has Britain been threatening Argentina? All this recent friction has been caused by your mental leader

You really need to try and get a grip on reality lasmanos

  • @lasmanos These are th facts: the event is taking place in a school

The teachers are lying to the children and communicating bad history

The children are encouraged to sit on an illustration of the falklands which has been swathed in an argentine flag

They are then encouraged to sing a song (from memory) which outlines that the falklands are an imporatant part of the motherland

And you don't think this is indoctrination and propaganda within the education system of argentina?

  • @lasmanos argentines are the villains - this much is clear - regardless of this video

  • @lasmanos i'm glad that you recognise argentinians look really bad in this video - at least you've got some sense

  • @lasmanos Facing reality is difficult for you isn't it

  • @bluemuleii

Seems to be a problem for the entire country, judging from the 'education' they're given at school.

  • @lasmanos I get the impression your saying its been edited to make the argies look bad. However the fact remains these activities were presided over by school teachers and yes it did take place in a school - and yes it is really really bad - in fact its the root cause of all the problems over the falkland islands. If argentina believed in peace they would not be exposing there children to this kind of nationalistic indoctrination.

  • @lasmanos Oh right you've decided to move off the indoctrination/propaganda argument - good move on your part.

The UK does not have 3000 troops on the island - but it does have adequate defense forces. 400 miles away is a country with 10's of thousands of troops dozens of fighter planes. That country invaded the islands in 1982 and hasn't relinquished its claim since . In fact that country is getting more aggressive ordering its military forces to harrass civilian shipping.......

  • Comment removed

Bastante democratico!

  • @lasmanos Do you understand the difference between a democracy and a dictatorship?

Your country isn't a democracy - yes it has a parliment - yes it holds elections - but its not a real democracy. Your president bought her position - paid the slum dwellers for her presidency. You expect us to take a corrupt third world shit hole seriously - as if it were a serious western democracy. Argentina is a laughable paradoy of a democratic country

-its a dictatorship of the highest bidder

  • @lasmanos A democracy pursuing sovereignty of (somebody elses) territory by peaceful and legal means?

Wake up - de kirchners already broken your constitution and international law in pursuit of the falklands. Shes also instructed her military forces to harass civilian shipping - thats not peaceful.

And suffer no delusion's we will not put up with it.Nobodys sending any extra submarines planes or troops - its not neccessary. The prime minister ordered a review of defense plans

  • @bluemuleii

  • @lasmanos What results? You've gained sovereignty over the islands then have you?

You are a tragic deluded character aren't you lasmanos - your obviously a real kirchnerite

  • @lasmanos This democracy is not going to put up with any threat from your squalid 3rd world corrupt shot hole and its fradulant regime

  • @bluemuleii

    MUYYyyyyyyyyy democratico....

  • @lasmanos Be realistic - argentina is a 3rd world shit hole - if you can't accept that paticular fact theres no hope for you

Britain is a constitutional monarchy. We have parliament and a queen. I'll excuse your ignorance its a bit complex for you. Most people know that Britain has the oldest continuously active parliament on the planet and is the mother of democracy in the modern world

    Obviously not you

  • @lasmanos Ha - Argentinas had a democracy for a whole thirty years - now your the experts? - You presidency was bought off of the poverty stricken unfortunates that make up such a large proportion of your population. Your countries institutions of democracy are corrupt Your highest court rents accomadation for brothels

Your country is a pathetic 3rd world shit hole that teaches its kids lies about other peoples territory so it can keep them distracted from realit there entire lives

  • @lasmanos Sorry lasmanos - its just a fact - your supreme court rented out accomadation to whores - aren't you aware of that?

Are you aware of anything apart from what you get told at your peronist youth meetings?

Poverty down to 28%? - oh well done

You know your growth figures - bet you don't know your inflation figures though do you - no nobody does. Your corrupt leader doesn't want anybody to know that. Guess what if its above 6% (which it probably is ) your in recession

  • @lasmanos Another reference to shakespeare have you actually read any? what personal insult - that was you with cartman and eric remember? Just for the record I'm english and I don't like you - but I don't like liars and fools. anyway enjoy your life of delusions and lies -try to wake up before the real world starts dropping cruise missiles on your head

    Adios

Soy Argentino y no me importa.
