Colonial suggests there were native populations that were displaced, like in Argentina. Where as the truth is Britain has always had the largest settlements, although they had to boot out French/Spanish settlers at times. The only native Falkland inhabitants were Penguins.

They invented this whole lesson plan just show the outside world how they abuse there children?

The teachers are lying to the children and communicating bad history
The children are encouraged to sit on an illustration of the falklands which has been swathed in an argentine flag
They are then encouraged to sing a song (from memory) which outlines that the falklands are an imporatant part of the motherland
And you don't think this is indoctrination and propaganda within the education system of argentina?

However the fact remains these activities were presided over by school teachers and yes it did take place in a school - and yes it is really really bad - in fact its the root cause of all the problems over the falkland islands. If argentina believed in peace they would not be exposing there children to this kind of nationalistic indoctrination.

The UK does not have 3000 troops on the island - but it does have adequate defense forces. 400 miles away is a country with 10's of thousands of troops dozens of fighter planes. That country invaded the islands in 1982 and hasn't relinquished its claim since . In fact that country is getting more aggressive ordering its military forces to harrass civilian shipping.......

Con la vuelta a la democracia Argentina busca el retorno de la soberania de las islas por fines pacificos y diplomaticos, y si te fijas en las ultmas semanas el que esta amenazando con mandar submarinos nucleares, mas aviones y tropas es UK, que es lo unico que saben hacer amenazar con la guerra a quien no quiere obedecerlos... En esa época (hay un documental famoso de la Argentina recorriendo provincias que lo pasan siempre en Volver), Arg. tenía su oficina del Correo Argentino, YPF, la bandera se podía poner, los viajes e intercambios comerciales eran habituales. Ni en pedo existía el odio que conocemos hoy. Hasta 1982 había posibilidad de diálogo. La guerra y estos payasos arruinaron todo.
