This is a great tutorial. The slow motion let me see your foot motions very carefully, and I can study your foot positions and hand movements so that I can perfect this myself. All I need to get down is the balance and how far I lean forward when releasing my back foot. Great vid, make more, and I will probably start becoming much better as a TKD apprentice, since I'll have constant things to make reference to when I'm lost.
I have recently gotten the motions for this move down, thanks to yours and a few other videos of reference. I just need to get speed and aim down and I'll be good! Thanks for the tut!
ioldfugi- White is the traditional color of a dobok in Taekwondo. In competition, we where white as well. In our school, we have different levels to our program that are denoted by different colored uniforms. Many schools do the same thing, but for competition, it's always white.
i did TKD for about 2 years but it hasnt help me on flexibility. but that was when i was 12 - 14. now im 17 and i might try again when im 18. does height cause kicking high problems?
yes and no. no matte how flexible you are theres going to be a limit on how high ur kicks can go so i guess if ur tall and flexible u land easy head kicks but ull be an easy target to land a body kick on
In order to become more flexible, you have to stretch everyday. Stretch for 7 to 15 minutes, targeting the hips, groin, and hamstring muscles. Those are the 3 main areas that will prevent you from kicking high. Also, Taekwondo is an excellent way to get more flexible. Just join!
